~ Hello everybody on Hive Blockchain ~

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. In this week art contest #190, I am going to show you my painting which is depicting Torhilo The Frozen. One of the Water Splinter monster from Reward Edition. He is belong to melee epic monster and has some great abilities such as Void, Last Stand and Shatter. In this post, I will do some sharing on below topics :

- Inspiration -

Whenever I want to make an artwork for the Splinterlands art contest, I always look at all of cards, and then find a card or monster which I am thinking that the result will be interesting. Since I love animal and plants so much, I put my focus a lot on both things.

And..., I have decided to draw Torhilo The Frozen because He has very beautiful appearance with his "glass" body. It reflects light and weaken the magic since his first and main ability is Void. His Horns and huge body prove that He is very strong monster in the battlefield. Here are the card and the full picture of Torhilo The Frozen :

1. Create an outline of Torhilo The Frozen using pencil

2. Make his body become "glass", I called it crystallization, ha ha ha

3. Thick the line using pen and erase the line made by pencil

Alright, last week we have some common cards for the giveaways and for today's giveaway, I would like to increase the value of rewards into rare cards, Here are some rare cards that you could possibly win :

Good work. Very nice Torhilo and I found it very interesting to include your thought process and approach from concept to final art.

Those are all good cards, my favorite I'd say is the Twilight Basilisk

Great job on Torhilo. :)

Arts contest and Card Giveaway in one post? I personally prefer splitting it into two separate posts. It is still up to you though.
Also, I wanted to curate your post with a 1UP but I don't see any related content related to your LEOFINANCE tag. Sorry about that and hope you understand. 🙂
