[GODS UNCHAINED] 7 COMMON MISTAKE NEW PLAYERS MAY MAKE

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. In this article, I am going to share the 7 common mistake made by new player. Well, I started playing this game last week so I think I also belong to new players, ha ha 🤣. For those people who started playing this game I hope you guys don't do the same mistake as I did ✋ and if you have been playing for several weeks perhaps maybe you can also check some of the mistake below because "maybe" you are still doing these kind of mistake. Alright, Let's jump 🏃‍♀ to the first one :

One thing that makes Gods Unchained different from other Trading Card Game (TCG) is the existence of favor system ⚖️. The favor system is a mechanic that gives favor points whenever a player do the following actions :

1. The player attack ⚔️ the opponent’s God.
2. The player destroy 💪 an enemy creature outside of combat.
3. The creature survives an attack 🗡 during combat and the attacking creature (opponent's monster) dies.
4. Killing 🗡 the opponent's creature while the attacking monster (Our creature) is still alive.

If we look at the right side of the board, there are three pictures where each of them has their own favor ⚖️ cost. The number at the bottom is our favor and the number at the top is the opponent's favor. When the favor is equal or above the favor cost of the card options, we can trade 💸 the favor for the respective cards. Here is how the sanctum looks like when we have enough favor to pull cards into our hand :

When we have enough favor, all the card options will be colorful 🌈, means that they are ready to pick (previously it was grey 🌑) and when we click on the sanctum the pop up will show like the below picture :

I have 30 favor so I can choose up to 2 cards in the above options, when we clicked on cards, it will come to our hand. So if you are new in the game, please don't forget to make use of your favor to pull cards from sanctum to make your team stronger 💪 in the battlefield.

Some creatures have roar ability followed by some unique skills, If you are new in the game please take some time to read and remember 📓 the special abilities 💪 of your cards to make use of the cards and increase the chance to win the battle, here is the example of the cards :

Furious Felid has the ability to give 1 damage whenever there's creature with 1 strength and 1 health (either our creature or opponent's creature) so the best time to use Furious Felid 🦁 is when the opponent has 1/1 card. The same thing applied for Larcenous Imp 👺, we have to use it whenever the opponent set relic card because this card will gain +1 point for both strength and health. the third example is Sword Breaker Sage 🗡, This card is also good to be used when the opponent set relic card because it can remove 1 durability of the relic.

The common mistake that the new player make is the transition of mana given after 5 mana.

After 5, the mana available will be 5.5 instead of 6.

As we can see in the picture above, there's a yellow mana which describe 0.5 mana. when the turn is over, we will get full 7 mana in our next turn. The new player might think that this is 7 mana already 👀 but it's not, we can only use 6 mana only in this round. The same thing happened after 7 and 8 mana. some small portion of mana will be given first until it become full green.

In gudecks.com we can find many useful information such as meta cards from each element, player stats, top decks, event, etc. New players can go 🏃‍♀ to the "Top deck section" and then click on the cards. There we can see the list of the cards (element and neutral), the god power along with the win rate. Below picture is an example :

The above picture shows the control deception 🎭 decks. It has pretty good win rate in my opinion, so if we want to try control deception deck, we can try to build the deck similar to this. Feel free to check all of the decks that the other players made in the gudecks.com.

I think this tips is useful if you are playing with death element 💀 because death creatures have some abilities to resurrect 😮 friendly monsters from the void 🏥. Here is the relic card that we can use to resurrect the creature :

So I think if we are using death element 💀, It would be a good idea to check the void, whether we have creature in the void to resurrect or not. This relic card has 2 durability, means that the card can resurrect up to 2 monsters 😈 from the void. I think it's pretty good for 4 mana card.

The last mistake that the new player probably make when started playing Gods Unchained is that they don't understand yet the function of Flux and Star Points. Flux ✨ is one of the in-game resource earned by playing the new Ranked Constructed game mode, Gauntlet of the Gods. Flux can be used to Fuse within the Forge to merge two identical cards into a new singular card of a higher Quality. While Star Points⭐️ is another in game resources to be used to purchase a card in the star store. We need to trade some star points to a card based on its listing price on the market, Here is the picture of the star store :

So If you see that there's a good card on the star store and you have enough star points, I think It's a good idea to spend some star points to get the new card.

Alright guys, I think these are the common mistake that the new players may make in their first or second week playing Gods Unchained, so if you are new in this game I hope you can avoid any of these mistake explained above.
