DEEPER LOOK AT NEW ABILITY : REFLECTION SHIELD - STRATEGY AND ANALYSIS (+ GIVE AWAY #4)

Welcome back to my channel, @queen-silvia, In this Social Media Weekly Challenge, I am going to share to all of you my thoughts (including strategy and analysis) about the new ability, Reflection Shield, which will go live when the new rewards system launched in the next season. This ability is really useful especially if we are fighting against monsters or summoners who have the following ability :

So far, There are 3 monsters only who have this ability, they are Tide Biter from Water Splinter, Revealer from Death Splinter, and the Legendary Venator Kinjo from Neutral splinter. Alright, in this article I will share my ideas about the following topics :

Alright, let's start with Tide Biter first. She is belong to epic monster from water splinter. The table below shows us the maximum level of card we can use in each league along with her ability :

In my opinion, understanding and practicing the maximum level in each league is very important to increase our winning rate because it will optimize the monster's capability. Since Tide Biter is melee monster and able to attack from 2^nd position, it will be great if we put her along with Inspire monster like Pirate Captain, Demented Shark, Relenor Cleaver, and River Hellondale. Her Reflection Shield ability can be used started from Lv.3 so player can use it in Silver league at maximum level.

The second monster is Revealer. He is belong to epic monster from death splinter. His first skill is stun which can make the opponents skip their turn when the stun ability gets activated. The table below shows us the maximum level of card we can use in each league along with his ability :

Alright, at Lv.1 - 3, He has stun ability, which means that is the only ability available from novice until silver league but at Lv.3 he has 2 magic attack which makes him powerful. The new ability, Immunity, unlocked at level 4 where player can use it at gold league. It will make Revealer the second death monster who has immunity skill, after the legendary Harklaw. The reflection skill can only be activated at maximum level.

The last monster who has Reflection Shield ability is Venator Kinjo. He is belong to legendary monsters from neutral splinter. The table below shows us the maximum level of card we can use in each league along with his ability :

Overall, this legendary monster has 5 skills. At Novice and Bronze league, he has 2 skills, the Reflection Shield and Camouflage. the higher league, more ability that Venator Kinjo can activate, at Silver he has additional skill, Immunity. At Gold league, he activates Slow and for the maximum level (4), he activates his amplify ability. Although he has very low health but the Camouflage will makes him cannot be targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position. So he will never die in the backline (2^nd until 6^th position).

Started from Lv.1, Tide Biter has very high speed and health already. With 3 mana cost, She has 4 speed and 4 health. Most probably she can attack first and not gonna die easily, thanks to both stats. Also, the Reach ability has been activated at Lv.1 which allows her to attack from first or second position in the normal ruleset. This monster can be used in "Up Close and Personal" ruleset while ranged and magic monsters are not. This monster is also available to be used in little league since she has 3 mana cost only.

Having high speed is like a "double-edged sword". In normal ruleset, the monster can attack first but in the reverse speed ruleset, this monster will attack last. Second, her rarity is epic, which means that she would not be available in Rise of the Commons ruleset.

As a death monster, he has 4 health point for 4 mana cost. This is considered high as most of death monsters have low health point in average. The next strength in my opinion is stun ability, in my opinion, this ability is one of the greatest skills since it can skip the opponent turn in the next round. This monster can be used in little league due to the fact that he costs 4 mana only.

His speed is 2 only, so in normal ruleset this monster is slow. At Lv.2 his attack is 1 magic only, if we looked at other monsters, most of them have 2 attack minimum for 4 mana cost.

He has 5 abilities which makes him a special card with certain skills, particularly, reflection shield. Those 5 abilities are Reflection Shield, Camouflage, Immunity, Slow, and Amplify. The main usage of Reflection Shield is we need to put him next to the monster who has taunt ability. This way, the blast ability monsters from Yodin Team would not spread to another monster since Venator Kinjo has the Reflection Shield ability.

His attack, speed and health point is very low. 1 melee attack without opportunity and sneak makes him unable to attack from any position. 2 speed is also considered as low, so he is vulnerable towards any attack whether ranged or melee. His life point is also 1, which is very low. Fortunately, he has Camouflage skill which prevent him to get attacked unless in the first position.

This way, all of the Yodin's team will target Wave Brood and the scattered attack would not spread to other monsters since Venator Kinjo (with his Reflection Shield) is resistance towards blast effect. So as long as Wave Brood is alive, all monsters in the backline are safe. Now the question is how to make Wave Brood become immortal monster? This is the role of Triage monster to heal the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage (in this case is Wave Brood).
