~ Hello Rising Stars Lovers😍 ~

Welcome to my blog, @queen-silvia. Yesterday, 30th of July 2022, was my first day playing Rising Star. The second game for me after Splinterlands. In my opinion, This game is super flexible since anyone can play whenever they are free and one thing that make this game interesting is everyone can convert their time into money because the job is pretty easy, just click on mission and we may leave while the time running and once it's finished, the player can earn some starbits which can be converted into any cryptocurrency we want.

Alright, in this article I will share my ideas about the following topics :

  • The cards you should have when start playing Rising Star
  • The most efficient strategy to boost up our level
  • My first "player" card
  • Opinion about Rising Star Game

- CARDS YOU SHOULD HAVE AS A BEGINNER -

Energy Boost

Alright, the first card you should have is energy boost. This card is very important since whenever you used it, all of your energy will be recharged back into 100%. So it's always recommended to use this card only if your energy is empty (0%). There are various ways to buy this card, either at Rising Star market or at NFT Mart. One thing which is very important if you want to buy card is, do not buy cards using swap.hive because it's much more expensive than buying cards using starbits. Here are examples of card price using swap.hive and starbits currency. As we can see in the picture below, swap.hive cost 2x price of starbits so I would suggest everyone to buy cards using starbits rather than swap.hive.

Pizza Box 2.png
Pizza Box

The next card that players should have is pizza box. This card is very important since every time we have completed the missions, there is a chance for the players to get energy boost in term of pizza slice so when we got a pizza slice from a mission the pizza will be stored in the pizza box. If we don't have pizza box, the pizza slice will be consumed right away, so if we still have high energy and we don't have pizza box, the pizza slice will come to a waste. In my opinion, 3 pizza box will be fine to do daily missions in level 1 - 20 in hometown. In additional 3 energy boost in terms of pizza slice will be enough and help to keep the player doing mission pretty well in a day.

Here is the example of note that we get a slice of pizza :

Risky Whiskey 50%.png
Risky Whiskey

The next card is Risky Whiskey. this card helps the player to gain some fans in order to complete missions. Every missions require the player to have some fans, for example, Midweek Headline slot requires 125 fans so we need to 125 fans (at least) in order to complete this missions. Risky Whiskey will store some drunk fans so whenever you need some additional players, you can use this card. The higher the level, the more fans will be rewarded. One thing which need to be noted is that in level 15, you will see an ego meter. When you have more fans than skill your ego will increase. Each mission also increases your ego. Increased ego reduces the maximum number of Starbits you can earn on missions. So it's really important to increase the skill by taking some music lessons, placing cards in storage or by buying cards with more Skill than Fans.

Coffee Cup 50%.png
Coffee Cup

The last card which the new players should have is a coffee cup. This card is pretty important to store the coffee after finishing missions. In every mission, there is a chance for the players to get a coffee and it is used to boost up the energy around 3-5%. Although not as high as pizza (which can refill the energy into 100%) the coffee cup is still useful to rise the energy. If the players don't have coffee cup then the coffee will be used immediately to increase the energy, this would be a waste if our energy is at 100%.

- THE MOST EFFICIENT ENERGY TO BOOST UP YOUR LEVEL -

1. Do the Highest level mission first

In my opinion, the most effective way to boost up rising star level is doing the mission which gives you the most XP first, and use the rest of energy for the lower level mission. Here is an example :

midweek.PNGbusking with a license.PNGopen midnight.PNG
Currently I am at level 15 and the two missions available for me are Midweek Headline Slot and Busking with a license. The best choice for me is Midweek Headline Slot rather than Busking with a license since Midweek will give more XP and starbits. Then the rest 20% of energy will be used to do Open mic night mission.
2. Use pizza in the pizza box first instead of Pizza Slice

This way you will serve one pizza slot, so there is space for pizza if you get the pizza slice in every mission.

- MY FIRST "PLAYER" CARD EVER -

R180 Avril (1).png
Avril

Avril is my first card ever. I bought this card for 7840 starbits. I choose this card because it's cheap and she has more skills than fans so the stats will reduce the ego. Whenever I want to buy cards, I always choose cards which have man skills and fans combined and the skill should have higher stats than fans. In the stats of my journey, I will just collect the rare cards only since it's fit the starbits I have collected from missions. I am planning to buy more cards in order to unlock Saturday missions which require 200 fans.

- OPINION ABOUT RISING STAR GAME -

rising_star_logo_wide.png

This is a very flexible game since we can play it whenever we are free and I think the goal of this game is converting your time into money in the form of starbits which you may convert in any cryptocurrency like hive or HBD or DEC, etc. I really like this game and will build my rising star cards in order to get higher rewards in the future.
