WHOEVER WEARS THE CROWN SHOULD BEAR ITS WEIGHT…
I just couldn’t help but feel like i have seen or heard something similar to this week second topic somewhere. I have been dwelling on it for hours now, at first i had troubles relating to the topic but after dwelling and pondering on it for a whole day, I finally realized where i saw something similar to what we have this week. I have eventually figured it out, and guess what friends, this particular topic can also be found in the holy scripture…
Let me take you to the book of ”Jeremiah chapter 31 verse 29”, that book says and i quote;
In those days they shall say no more, the fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. -Holy Bible.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve crossed path with this particular place in the bible, even with the fact that i am not a bible student, i still try my best in that regard…
I didn’t understand this particular chapter and verse of the Bible before, but after reading it a couple of times over and over again, I finally started understanding it bit by bit and later on the next verse after 29 finally gave me the clearer insight as to what that part of the scripture says. And if i’m not mistaken, i think the next verse clearly states that every one shall die for his own iniquity, which means every one will be judged and punished accordingly by what they have done, and not one person suffering for the iniquities of another. I am open to correction you know…
Now let’s head back to the questions asked in the prompt;
Should The Children Be Punished For The Crimes Of Their Parents?…
First thing first, Why?. I repeat Why such rule, why should the children be punished for the crimes of their parents. This is something i will never agree to in a million years from now. Why do we have to suffer for the actions of our parents, at first the reason why our parents would do something that extreme is totally because they want us to have the best life possible, so if things were to go sideways, they should take responsibility of their actions, why do we the kids have to suffer for their actions…
It is normal for us to happily partake in the joy and blessings of our parents, that is not something new, it is expected of us to enjoy that privilege, after all they are the parents and they are definitely the ones who drove us to this world, and they definitely didn’t drive us to this world to suffer, so it is normal for us to enjoy the blessings and joys with them, but then when it comes to bearing the consequences of some bad choices, i don’t think we the children should be a partaker in that aspect. We are innocent of the choices they make, and we definitely don’t influence their decisions in all cases, if not all, atleast majority of us are innocent and again every parent wants the best for their children, so why do we have to share in brunt of their bad choices, after all they made it. Let them take responsibility for their actions, after all they are the parents and parents will always put their children first…
In summary, this topic is actually a tricky one, i don’t have much to say on this, but then i still won’t agree to the fact that children should be punished for the crimes of their parents…
In conclusion, let everyone take responsibility for their actions, no one is liable to shift responsibilities and the consequences attached to it. Let whoever wears the crown bears the weight of the crown. Simple and easy…

THANKS FOR READING…
I totally agree with you; every man has his own cross.
Read Exodus 34:7b, Exodus 20:5 and also see what the Bible says, I know it's in the old Testament But sadly, we're still paying for the sins of Adam and Eve to this day.
Now the thing is if these kids are not wise enough to learn from their parents mistakes and follow the same route, they'd have to pay for the sins of their parents.
I believe the Bible verse you quoted was talking mainly about on the last day where every man will stand before the Lord on his own and he would judge each person according to their sins and not the sins of their parents (I'm not a bible scholar lol)
😂
Thanks for the correction 😂, and that is why i said i am open to correction 😂
Yh😅
It was clearly stated in the Bible that everyone should carry their cross, and now people making their children suffer the sins of their fathers is something I still see as terrible. Since we are innocent of whatever they had done, we don't need to suffer for their sins.
Exactly my dear, you are on point. One man to his cup of tea 😂
