THE SIMPLE SUNDAY ENDED WITH SOME GOOD MEMORIES…

LATE NIGHT FEELING…

This is literally one of those days i just feel like having my long distance friends close by enough to have some fun and to discuss some interesting stuff about our past, current and future, especially our days of mischievousness and trouble, that feeling is just one of a kind…

Whenever i feel this way i just can’t help but reminisce those good old times through my favorite old songs, these songs make those memories feel like it’s happening again, it keeps me calm and make me feel good. I just love them too much and i am happy to know each and everyone of are doing well for ourselves and in our respective field…

A CHOREFULL & PRODUCTIVE DAY…

I couldn’t make it to church today for a couple of reasons. I woke up this morning and decided to head to the other house to clean myself up and do a couple of other chores. I got there very early this morning, that should be around 7:30 am, i got there and changed into something comfortable immediately, sat down doing nothing for a while because the water stopped running and i will be needing the water to clean up…

In the absence of water i decided to conclude the bollywood movie i was seeing last night, it was a 2 hour 51 minute movie, I finished the movie before 10 am and immediately got up to start my chores for the day…

I plugged the JBL bluetooth speaker and connected it to my phone, I navigated my thumb to my latest playlist, this playlist contains all the songs of my current favorite artists, the likes of Nasboi, Fola, Buju Benson, Chike, Rybeena, Seyi Vibes, Rema, and Bahd Boi Oml. I had their songs on shuffle and immediately got in the mood for some clean up…

I picked up the brush and swept the whole sitting room while the house owners cleaned their rooms respectively, i raised and shifted the sofas in the house and cleaned the whole room, the house hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, i felt like today was the best day to do justice to that. I spent more than 30 minutes cleaning the whole sitting room, i couldn’t mop the house because the water available won’t be enough for the clean up today and tomorrow, so i decided to shift the mopping to a later day…

The joy was everywhere in the house. I was cleaning the room happily and with vigor. I was making some crazy moves while the songs played, i kept singing and enjoying myself as I worked. I finished after about 45 minutes. The sweats kept coming but I didn’t care about it…

I finished cleaning, cleaned myself up and went out to get breakfast. I was in the other house throughout the day, Mum kept on calling me to come home, I told her we will see later tonight. After the little chores, I chatted a bit and rested for a couple minutes before the GUYs and I started talking about some interesting things…

It was entertaining and before i knew it sunset was just around the corner. I decided to rest up again and that was how I woke up this night. I woke up to a very special friend’s message, we chatted and talked till some minutes ago, now I’m home and there’s nothing to do than fall in bed…

In summary, I have been at the yard for over 30 minutes now listening to my old favorite songs, these songs are bringing back memories and i love the feeling…

In conclusion, it’s time to head in, tomorrow is gonna be great. It’s time to sign off, might take some hours to fall asleep but then I’m done for the day….
