Growing up under my parents, i have learnt a lot from them and that include children giving their parents their first earning ...The parent(father or mother)collects the money and prays for the child from the bottom of their heart and then gives the child any amount out of the money to spend or they give the child the money and the child gives them a certain amount out of it...

But as a well trained child, when your parent gives back the money to you, it is better you give them back and tell them to remove the desired amount of their choice and then they bless you with joy in their heart...

I can remember vividly how i went about my first earning, at first i never understood why it has to be like that but as time went on i understood better and then i keyed into the act and since then i have been experiencing all round favor...

I remember when i went to my Dad with my first earning, he collected it and prayed for me and then he returned the money back to me, but i refused and told me to give me any share of it and i will accept it with love because
that little share he is giving me signifies his blessings to me and more will come, but guess what my father said:

" Qudus this is your hard earned money, i mean the money made from your sweat
Now you know how it feels working for your survival, this is what i have been doing for the past 26 years and i am happy you are now in that phase of your life.....

I don't want your money, just go out there and get RECHARGE CARD and MALT for you  to know how happy i am with you and i bless you from my heart"..

That was my father's words to me, i felt this undiluted joy within me and then dashed out to get him what he required..let me just take you on the journey of what work i did to make my first earning....

Before finishing my high school, my propietress has been on and off on retaining me as teacher after my SENIOR SECONDARY CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION(SSCE), she retains any brilliant student in their school after passing out and that was how i got employed even before leaving secondary school and not looking for employment...

In the year 2020, i finished my SSCE and after weeks school resumed and i started my duty that Monday morning, i reported to the Propietress office looking tight and fitted and she welcomed me and that was when she assigned me to be in charge of the common entrance students(Basic 5), i was just 17 years then and she asked me how much i want as my salary, i was shy then and because she isn't an outsider we agreed on #8000 and because i was taking on common entrance students, i had other benefits like everyday morning lesson which i collect #100 from each student, with both weekly assessment and story book profits and i made a flyer with my name and contact as a home lesson tutor, and then i had just two students and i charged #5000 monthly for both, just 8 times in a month that is Saturday and Sunday alone....

My overall salary was about #20000 and i was okay with it, as time goes on i became a teacher and started taking classes from 7:00am to 3:00pm because of the pandemic...
funniest moment, i remembered my mates and i saying i will never become a teacher but guess what all of us became a teacher at last and then i laughed thinking about those moments...

I realized what my teachers passed through when i was a student, i saw hell and at a time i fell sick but i was determined to never give up and get recommendations from parents, it wasn't easy but i pulled through and worked for a month and i got my first pay which was #8000 from the school, #5000 from the home lesson and about #7000 for the daily morning lesson ...it was more than that but i feed myself from the daily lesson and i had over 25 students and that was how i calculated everything and it was #20000 monthly....

I spend #10000 monthly and save the remaining money, pay my tithe and spend #5000 on myself every month and give my mum #3000 monthly and from my share, i made sure i get Dad recharge card and chilled MALT..

In conclusion, my first earning was like an open door to more earnings, i received lots of blessings from everywhere and then i always give KUDOS to all the teachers out there, the teaching experience was a memorable one and now i am happy, my children are now in JUNIOR SECONDARY CLASS as a result of my hardwork....
