MY GO-TO APPS OF ALL TIME…
Relaxation is not laziness. It’s about finding balance and taking care of yourself. - Elizabeth Scott…
The comfort and warmth we derive from the company of our devices is one like no other. Over the years, i have realized what my devices meant to me, and what i’d do if I don’t have them in my company and that to at my anytime disposal, I’d feel lost without them. There is this sense of happiness and comfort i feel whenever i am surfing different websites and apps on my devices, i guess I could call my devices my second love, it’s just as important as living…
My personal computer and mobile phone has been my friend for many years, they are my best source of relaxation, whenever i feel bored or moody, several apps keep me company, and at the end of the day this apps end up putting a smile on my face, they always come through for me big time…
These apps have proven more effective than any other activities I do offline, they have come through for me when my friends and other offline activities couldn’t…
Honestly, i don’t have that many go-to apps for unwinding 😉, it’s just a few apps here and there, find them below 👇 as i list them in their order of priority…
DISCORD…
I started using this particular app two years ago, and that to because of the hive blockchain, I doubt if I would’ve known about its existence if I didn’t join hive…
Discord has been one of go-to apps for years now, i spend most of my day on discord chatting with friends from all over the world in different servers, it’s an app like WhatsApp but it’s quite different from the kind of comfort and relaxation WhatsApp provides…
Chatting and engaging with my friends in the neoxian city, india united, hive pakistan, hive learners and many more servers has always been a great form of interaction and relaxation, and i spend atleast 6 hours or more on discord everyday…
WHATSAPP & FACEBOOK…
I started using this two apps long before i found my way to discord, I started my online socialization with Facebook many years ago, and that was even before i got an android phone. I upgraded to WhatsApp after i got an android phone, the status of my friends has always been another form of relaxation for me…
I have a couple of friends whom i chat with regularly on WhatsApp because they aren’t on discord, i also have friends who posts hilarious videos on their status, which most times keep me occupied enough to smile…
Ever since I moved to WhatsApp, facebook has now become a once in a while place for me, i only go to Facebook to watch my favorite skit makers, the likes of brainjotter and others, they are just the right people for my relaxation…
NETFLIX, YOUTUBE & VLC…
As a lover of movies and series, these three apps are a must for me, i visit them everyday and spend at least 6-8 hours on them almost daily, I don’t joke with my movies oh…
I watch movies based on my mood, sometimes i visit the YouTube for nollywood romantic dramas, while Netflix for my kdramas and hollywood series, this is my method of relaxation, it has never failed me…
HIVE & AUDIO MARK…
Hive is a must for me everyday , same as audio mark, if i am not on hive engaging and also not on Netflix, i will probably be on audio mark listening to my beautiful playlists…
My playlist is always on auto repeat, i have different genre of songs downloaded on audio mark, it mostly depends on my mood. These two apps are great forms of relaxation…
In summary, I don’t really do games but i play dream league soccer 2024 occasionally when i am extremely bored and in need of a partner to play games with, i still go days without a playing it, which makes it less enjoyable and fun for me, unlike other apps listed above…
In conclusion, my PC is mainly for hive, I sometimes use Instagram on it, just for a change of screen but it is mostly my phone i use to surf these apps. These apps provide me utmost relaxation at all times…
So that is that on the topic Go-to apps or software on my phone for unwinding, this is my entry to the INLEO june daily prompt; day 2. This is an interesting initiative, you should take part in it, it's on friends…

Yes bro
I love that quote of Elizabeth Scott, many people have failed to take out time to relax because they feel it's laziness, but they forget that mental stress is looking at them with one eye.
Lol, exactly my man old soldier, we need to relax sometimes and that too in the company of different apps, thanks for stopping by man…
Oh, it's always good to unwind and just relax. There's no way you'll go online and not smile even once.
Facebook is one of my most unused mobile apps
Same here, facebook and i are just acquaintance lol, thanks for stopping by dear
You're welcome
this guy has good apps to relax
No time my brother
Man you got the point.
Movies help one relax and soul. I too sometimes visit Netflix to watch quality movies as my way of unwinding
.
There is no time to play oh, Netflix movie all the way my man, thanks for stopping by brother
In your mind, you will be like, who needs human interaction when you have Discord, WhatsApp, and Netflix, right? 😂
But seriously, I'm glad you've found some apps that bring you joy and relaxation. I'm a bit jealous, actually, that you can spend 6 hours on Discord - I can barely handle a few minutes without logging out 😂
Lol, come back and let me teach you iska love lol 😂
Very nice, bro.
Discord beats WhatsApp for me. It's much more fun to chat there than anywhere else. And I used to use Audiomack for music, guy their catalogue was too small for me back then. Nice to see that they've improved.
