MY ALL TIME COMPUTER STRESS RELIEVER...
The joy and happiness i derive from working all day on either my pc or phone is something i can't describe with just ordinary words or my actions but the fact is that this is the best feeling for me so far and i am very sure it is the same for everyone...
I have always been a lover of gadgets especially phones and computers but back then i didn't have the funds to purchase them but as time goes on, i worked hard and bought my first phone and that was two years ago, after owning a phone, i dreamt of having a laptop but i didn't have the funds to purchase it and then fortune smiled on us, we were gifted a laptop and that was how my addiction started..
Since i got these two things, my life has been pleasant and beautiful because i have come to take them as my all time buddy, they console me every time i need them and that made our bond stronger that i no longer need the company of others to be happy, my phone and laptop are enough to give me that much happiness...
My life now revolves around this two things and i enjoy them because they can't betray me when i need them and that is why i don't think we can be separated so soon..
Ever since i joined the hive platform, i have come to be around the screen that is my phone and laptop for at least 20 hours everyday which is something you and i know will have an effect on us if it remains a constant process..
It is something we can't do without as a writer, the best thing we can do is to either limit the time we spend on it or get something that would reduce the effect of the screen lights and other negative impact it can have on our health..
Well well well, i have realized that spending time in the company of these gadgets is unavoidable and that made me to look for a way to reduce the effect of it on my health and today i am going to share how i have been able to cope with the stress attached to it..
HOW DO I COPE WITH THE STRESS ATTACHED TO MY PHONE AND PC..
This is something i discovered on my own some months after i started blogging , i realized that me being on the screen 24/7 has really damaged a lot of things in me and it was slowly starting to affect my online life and i couldn't allow this to become the reason why i will have to quit being a full time blogger and immediately i discovered this, i sought out help...
I saw various signs of my health deteriorating after this months, i saw symptoms like tear drops from my eyes when i spend more than 6 hours on screens, constant eye scratching and itching, blurry vision, constant migraines and unexpected fatigue, these are the signs i saw and it made me sought medical help..
I went to the hospital to complain and i told them the things i do and the doctor told me that it is from the result of staying too long on screens without having to reduce or limit it, i asked for solutions and i got lots of it..
These are the solutions i got:
GETTING A COMPUTER GLASSES : i was prescribed with glasses which reduces the effect of phone and computer backlights, i asked for the usefulness of this glasses, he told me that it will absorb the effect of the light which is supposedly harmful to my eye sight and with this glasses, i will be able to spend my constant time on my phone and laptop without having to worry about my eye sight..
EYE DROPS : I had to get an eye drop because i need it to rinse out the dirt in my eyes after the daily usage of this glasses and it was said to help my eye sight more focused without constant itching..
- ADEQUATE REST: This is a self discovered remedy, i realized that i get this migraines every time i increase the brightness and contrast of my phone and pc, whenever they are too high it gives me migraines and whenever i get this migraines it distract me and makes me loose focus..
Whenever i am starting to feel this, i immediately reduce the light and turn my pc off and then rest for hours and then when i wake up, i will be back to full strength..
- Reducing your back light is also very very important because the eyes are very sensitive light rays, even the tiniest bit of light can prove to be harmful if care is not taken and that is why we have maintain a reduced contrast at all times...
In summary, these are the remedies i got for myself and so far so good everything has been going alright, the constant itching and tear drops are now a thing of the past, the glasses, the eye drops are indeed working for me and now i can spend all day in front of screen without having to worry about my health..
In conclusion, i take adequate amount of rest too, to make sure i perform effectively and actively whenever i am on tasks or deadline based posts, you can also adopt my methods and see how much of help it is to you too, there is no harm in trying..

I thought of getting glasses too for my eyes because I spend the day on my phone even though I don't usually spend time on my laptop. Phone is faster for me. I developed eye sore, pain and this was due to the amount of time I spend daily on screen which is affecting me.
It's good when we can take care of our health especially the eyes since we expose it to too much light on screen which is dangerous. These method of yours are indeed amazing and I don't think you have any problem except that you keep taking much rest because body no be firewood. Hope you know?

It is really an informative post with authentic measures to mitigate the negative effects caused by screens. The idea for a special glasses hot my mind. My brother has the screen work and he has migraine very often. Perhaps it might help him.
I can relate to the tiredness thing. Using screen for long give me fatigue too. It is like your body goes slow. Ofcourse everything is linked to brain.
You said that you are in front of screen 20 hours a day. How come 4 hours be enough for healthy sleep ? 🤔
Hmmmm that is true and Indeed a fact and most times I sleep while on phone and there are times where I just work with my phone and then on my days off I sleep throughout, Saturdays and Sunday are my resting days and I don't joke with them because Monday to Friday are very hectic and that is because after posting, I engage until I fall asleep and for a while now I stopped it and it's now half of the day to do other thing.
It's very good that you take the breaks seriousl. It helps.resume the energy

Highly informative. Blue rays are so harmful. So a simple thing I follow decrease the blue light and active on the eye protector shield.

That's right, we can get computer glasses to help reduce the ray of the light on the eyes and yes , eye drops helps the eyes to relax because it helps take away the dust and other particles from the eyes and that is why it is more advisable to use it when you want to go to bed.
I've been able to learn a lot from reading this and I feel to refreshed now because I know how to tackle mine now.

These gadgets are companions indeed, I don't know how life would have been without them. Everything that has an advantage also has a disadvantage. When I saw that 20 hours I almost shouted, you are really working sir. Spending such a long time on phone and PC daily is sure to affect your eyes.
Thank God you discovered, those symptoms and you didn't give it a deaf hear. One funny thing with humans is that we will never do the right thing when we are supposed to do it, until it turns into a problem. I am glad you devised means on how to handle the issue.
