IT'S THE MONTH OF CELEBRATION...
All my life i have always loved celebrating beautiful and remarkable events with not just my families but including all my friends from far and near because i feel like without them the fun moments wouldn't be complete and i am happy that so far so good it's been going as planned...
To be honest with you all, i have been pondering and dangling on this question for two days and the question is; should i participate in this week's ecency prompt topic or not?? and that is because of where i fall into when it comes to celebrating these two different festivities; ramadan and easter...
To make my point clear on this let me enlighten you more on why it was hard for me to make the decision of either to participate in this prompt or not...
My dad is a muslim and my mum is a christian, with this sentence it is quite obvious to you all that i celebrate both easter and ramadan because my parents practice different religion, i have both muslim and christian names, i go to church but not to the mosque and funny enough my brother, dad and i fast during ramadan period lol and we break when it's sunset...
I made up my mind to join in this contest because i believe it is all about celebrating either easter or ramadan and it is possible to celebrate both depending on the type of family one hails from...
This year i plan to go slow, steady and low-key for this two celebrations and that is because this is also the month of my birth and that is april 12 to be precise...
Well well well, my plan for this year's ramadan and easter celebration is spending them with my loved ones and that is with my families and friends and also chilling out on my birthday which happens to fall into the month of ramadan...
I won't be fasting on my birthday for many reasons but today being easter sunday, whatever my mum prepares for the easter celebration will also be kept for us who are fasting and that is how it has been even for last year's ramadan too and this means there is no missing out on anything hehe...
The best thing about the ramadan celebration for me is that i tend to get a lot of favour from all the people around me, every month of ramadan is always my lucky and special month and most importantly it is an holy month and for the easter celebration, the delicious food and the mass celebration of the festivity is the highlight for me...
The common thing and which is also the most important thing for me in these two different celebration is that; it is an holy month and that means we should stay away and try to avoid sin in this period of time especially...
I try my very possible best to stay away from anything unclean in this period of time and that is how it has been for me and to be honest with you all, different kinds of food will be prepared in this month to celebrate these festivities and eating rice is a must today, fingers crossed hehe...
I will be having my favorite food today and that is FRIED RICE & CHICKEN in the next seven hours because of my fast and i can't wait hehe...
In summary, it is all about spreading and sharing love around and that is the most important aspect of this two different yet similar celebrations...
In conclusion, a big shout-out to all my muslim and christian friends all over the blockchain and the world at large, i wish us many more years of this celebration and that to in good health and wellness of life...
