A HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS? NOT BAD FOR A START…

All my life I’ve always thought being wealthy guarantees happiness and comfortability. Well, it does in a most cases but then not in all cases, which means sometimes being wealthy doesn’t necessarily mean you are comfortable. I have seen a couple of wealthy businessmen who aren’t hundred percent comfortable, mainly because they kind of have a big secret to conceal and they don’t want it slipping out of the four walls of their home. There are situations like that, but then being wealthy is the first step to having a comfortable life and lifestyle…

I occasionally sit down and ask myself this very crucial question; how much money would i need to live a comfortably life?. Whenever i ask myself this particular question, I never get any serious answer as my greed always ends up getting in the way. It keeps mentioning something extremely big, something like ”a hundred thousand U.S dollars for a start, I think having that kind of money would surely guarantee a comfortable life…

A hundred thousand dollars is around one hundred and seventy million naira(170,000,000), i had to use #1700/$1 and that summed up to that big amount. Wow, that’s huge, i think having this particular amount of money would surely guarantee a comfortable life if well spent or spent on the right things. If i had this amount of money at my disposal I’d surely look for ways to make more money with it, I would start by investing part of it in Real estate and then moving to buying of company shares, doing this is the best way to tie down money and it ensures not only financial stability but also life stability and comfortability…

I can’t stop dreaming of how overly comfortable I would be with such amount of money at my beck and call 😂, but then ”if wishes were horses, then beggars would ride”. The fact is that this amount of money is extremely very very far from the average salary of a Nigerian citizen…

source

I think the average monthly salary of any Nigerian citizen in this current year is a hundred thousand naira and at most one million two hundred thousand naira yearly, I don’t know how true this is but this is clearly what the internet says. If this is true then my dear my definition of comfortable life is quite far from the actual reality…

A hundred and seventy million naira minus a million and two hundred thousand naira, this means i will be over a hundred and sixty million plus short of money to live a comfortable life, this is bad…

Let’s come back to reality, a family man of 2 to 3 kids and a wife earning a hundred thousand naira monthly is actually very poor, how is he expected to cater for all their needs at once, i believe a single person would be able to make do with such amount of money monthly unlike a family man…

source

The country is actually very hard and bad right now, I don’t think a hundred thousand naira monthly is big enough for the definition of a comfortable life, things are getting expensive daily and we expect this littlest money to sort everything out. No, that’s bad, the country needs to do better…

In summary, I have already highlighted the amount of money that best describes a life filled with comfortability for me, the fun fact is that it is very very difficult to get that sum of money, I mean legally though, i can’t say otherwise 😂…

In conclusion, if I can’t get this amount of money, the best solution to this problem is to continue living from hand to mouth, easy peasy and we all pray for Grace…

NB; this is my entry to the inleo monthly prompt titled how much money do you need to live comfortably?, you should check the prompts out and participate in them…

100,000 naira seems like a tiny amount of money when converting to South African Rands.

Ohhh, SA… wooow, i love that country big time, especially your girls 😜🤪🤪🤪…

Naira is quite low here, so it’s a good amount here unlike other currencies, and the best is investment, to yield more money

Oh, such a hard question to answer. If I would estimate it in USD, I think $300 is more than enough for a month with my family. We don't pay rent, the cost of living in my neighborhood is affordable, and our electric bill is not high since we don't have a lot of equipment. So if freelancing can allow me to earn those dollars, life is good from where I live, I think. I live in the Philippines, by the way.

At this juncture, we need to have a gofundme for our dear Fox to live comfortably.

I think I’d need maybe just one million dollars.🤭 I don’t want to be selfish.
