The Astar Contribution Score Campaign Brings 100 Million $ASTR To Boost Soneium Growth

The Astar Contribution Score campaign started on the 20th of February, and will end on the 30th of May. It aims to drive user adoption, increase on-chain activity, and expand the utility of the ASTR token.

The ACS campaign is managed by the Astar Foundation and supported by Soneium. This initiative rewards users for engaging with various ecosystem activities, including gaming, consumer apps, and liquidity provision. A total of 100,000,000 $ASTR tokens from Astar's treasury will fuel the campaign.

ACS is part of the broader Astar Collective initiative, which aims to expand Astar’s impact across multiple networks. Soneium is the first blockchain in the Superchain to integrate ASTR, and more events will follow!

The campaign strengthens ASTR’s role within Soneium, driving its use in gaming, payments, and web3 applications, while boosting transaction volume and engagement across dApps. This is a good time to explore Sony's EVM layer2, and grow the ACS!

The campaign creates a sustainable economic model that fosters organic growth and adoption by rewarding active users, as every onchain interaction will influence the Astar Contribution Score. I am adding points everyday through transactions and staking, and I am able to check my progress without any effort.

The campaign’s model rewards users with ACS points for their contributions, including gaming, app usage, and liquidity provision. Liquidity providers receive multipliers, especially for ASTR-based liquidity, reinforcing ASTR’s position within the ecosystem.

At the campaign's end, ACS points will be converted to ASTR tokens , offering incentives based on user activity. The exchange ratio is 1 ACS for 0.1 ASTR, therefore 10 points being required per token.

You probably know I dived into Soneium since day one, supplying assets on Sake Finance, staking stables on SoneFi, and providing liquidity on Kyo. All the transactions, and all the TVL I added into those protocols are helping me add my ACS.

My Astar Contribution Score gets better and better, even if sometimes I am dropping places in the leaderboard. At the start of March I had 906 points, and a guaranteed 90 $ASTR at the end of the campaign.

It's a competition, so PvP mode is activated. I love competing against others, and being ranked 3062 from all participants brings satisfaction. This race has plenty of days left so slow and steady wins the race!

The ACS was designed to boost Soneium’s growth, driving ASTR adoption and creating a self-sustaining economy within the Soneium ecosystem. As part of the Astar Collective's expansion, the campaign positions ASTR for broader cross-chain adoption.

I see this as a significant step toward the future of the Superchain, one that includes interoperability and no borders. Earning $ASTR is just another perk, adding more essence to my main quest... airdrop hunting on a plethora of Soneium protocols! Game on!
