Just Another Adventure: A Journey From Denpasar Airport to Sanak Retreat
Yesterday was quite a day! It all started with a simple task: picking up some clients from Denpasar airport and driving them to Sanak Retreat, a serene hideaway nestled 1,300 meters above sea level in the heart of Bali. To be exact, It's in Munduk Village, North Bali.
forest and farms along the way.

As I greeted my clients, their English accents brought a smile to my face. I always enjoy learning different English accent.
Leaving the chaos of the airport behind, we embarked on a three-hour drive to Sanak Retreat. We ventured through Bali's countryside, passing by lush rice fields, some dense forests, and picturesque sceneries along the road of middle Bali.
Despite the midday heat, the journey became a delightful exploration of Bali's natural beauty. Well, thanks to the air condition of the car!
Our midway we passed many different types of farms, from rice farm, vegetables, coffee and clove plantation. As we drove all these farms, I shared tales of the land—of rice farmers, and all the plantation, as well as some basic info on Bali, including the total population of Bali island. Well, also the number of total motor cycles we have on the island 😀😀😜

But the real highlight of the journey was the laughter and camaraderie shared with my clients. I entertained them with attempts at different accents, including a Texas drawl and a Essex accent from England. Do you, (yes, you reading this blog post) want to hear my Texas accent?

Arriving at Sanak Retreat felt like stepping into another world. Located on a valley surrounded by rice fields and hills, the retreat offered a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. The soothing sounds of birds and the chorus of crickets welcomed us, reminding us of the simple joys of life.

As I bid farewell to my clients at Sanak Retreat, I felt grateful for the shared moments and the joy of laughter. Now I have to return back to my home. It's another three hours drive!!!
Oh, boy!
getting ready to drive back.
Disclaimer: I am not really an expert in different accent, but only saying one or two sentences of Texas drawl and English Essex accent. That's all. Thanks.
