our first birthday.

On this day I chose to celebrate my own and tell my pregnancy story. I wasn't pre-informed about the ups and downs of child raising..
I am Cynthia a mother to one adorable princess. Being pregnant changed my whole life till now everyday is filled with new things .
How I moved from this sexy babe (

) to a plus size (

) is still a mystery to me(lol).
The journey started with a lot of morning sickness,vomiting, cravings and as of then I newly got married and just moved to a new environment so adjusting and meeting up with my cravings was something. Google and some app became my saviour as I will always check them for confusing symptoms till I registered for antenatal.
On one of my antenatal appointment around 19 weeks we were told that the baby is going to be a girl and her father named her Golden (highly favored one or success bringer 💕) while I named her Chimbuife (my God is light).
Sadly At 38 weeks the doctor dectected decrease in the baby's movement so after having to wait for so hours he suggested a ceasearn, was wheeled to the theater and before a hour my bundle of joy came.
I was lactating immediately after the surgery so I decided to feed her exclusively.

Having to nurse a baby with the fresh surgery was another level of pain but we pulled through. All the pains and stress of having a baby was nothing to me but my major concern became how to shade the accumulated baby fat(I moved from 68-80kg and weighted 85kg a week before delivery).

Pregnancy is a journey and irrespective of the fact that it might seem the same(gestation period of nine months) it is still unique per individual. Watching and guiding this gift grow from an infant to a toddler is one mission I am blessed to embark on.
Shout out to all the women/mother's out there..we are super beings.
