Battle Mage Secrets - Counterspell

Hi there Splinterbuddies. Another Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge time and this ruleset is unfavorable for the Mages out there. A Counterspell discussion.

Counterspell

All units receive the magic reflect ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with magic receive damage back.
Damage returned is equal to the damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
Magic units with the reflection shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
The amplify ability increases damage.

• So basically this is a Magic reflecting armor that if you attack an opponent with it, your monster will received a half damage of its attack. Boosting it with Amplify, this Counterspell will gonna be painful.

The ruleset is:

Counterspell with Briar Patch in the mixed. Adding the 20 Mana capacity battle, I am choosing Earth Splinters to form my team.

• So why am I boosting a magic dealer team with my summoner and placing a really against the odds team to play this battle? You have a problem with that splinterbuddy? lol. Well you see, its a bit annoying looking my team with Briar Patch and Counterspell at the same time with an Obsidian boosting my monsters Magic damage. Its like placing my team in the battle field just to loose. But this happens when you got blinded by trust to Quora T. Really that card is amazing that I like to use it every single battle even though I got a decent card collection that I can use in Bronze League battles. The ability of Quora to win is really to my liking so who cares with the rulesets? lol. But the main reason why am I using this kind of team got its purpose. Using Dual heal with the aid of Goblin Psychic to my Tank, which I am confident, will overcome the Rulesets of this battle. Adding the bloodlust to the equation, Quora's fatal ability will be my key to win this fight. I placed Mycelic M. and Fungus F. to fill some space at the back and to grant some damage to the sneakers in the form of Thorn Ability that was boosted by Briar Patch ruleset. Oh yeah this is a Brawl battle so I can freely use Gladius card. Another thing is we have additional Mana cap so I am using a 21 Mana capacity team. Perks of our guild.

• The Battle
  
  The combination of Fire and Death splinters is going to be my opponent this time. The opponent take advantage the rulesets by placing a hard hitter Range attack Dealer in the form of Liza Fox and a tank that got a sturdy armor and a good health coming from the Fire Splinters. So let's see what is the result of the battle.

Round 1

Dem. Almost lost my Quora in the Initial clash. That is why I should become a less trustworthy to things. Almost lost in Round 1 lol.

Round 2

The end of the battle. Yup, with this reflecting damages that were added to the mix by the rulesets is really going to let the fight on a fast forward option. Its my win. Lucky!!

• Counterspell is a thing to neglect.. nah, I am kidding. If you are going to play this ruleset, the type that will reflect damages when you throw to the opponent you will receive at the same time, you must ensure the health of your monster/monsters have the ability to keep up so you can heal them and fight again. This ruleset is halved when reflected but be aware that if it is boosted by amplify, it will damage your monster more. Well this might help in Counterspell, you might like placing monsters that got Void armor and alike protection to lessen the damage that you will receive coming from any form of Magic damages.
