A New Graphics Designer On Hive || Hive Introductory Post
Hello Everyone, I am Samuel Adeyinka, a Nigerian. I'm from a family of 5
(Parents,2 sisters and I ).I am from Ogun State, Abeokuta.
I'm a student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. I'm in my third year and studying Animal Breeding and Genetics 🤗. I was introduced to this platform but I didn't take it seriously until now. The stress in school was the reason why I didn't take Hive seriously and the exam was fast approaching. I didn't even give my friend a chance to explain better about Hive.
The funny part is this;
Two other friends of mine @olujay were introduced to Hive and are well to-do now. Their contents are top-notch. Now I'm here😎 and glad that I finally have a reason to join this Hive Platform, get connections, make incredible friends, etc.
I joined Hive because it's a platform that allows me to share with others what I do and also build relationships with great minds around the Globe. I will talk about my hobbies in this post too, I've got a few😎.
I joined Hive through Gifted @starstrings01,a great and wonderful friend. He's a handsome and gifted guitarist.
My Hobbies
I have quite a few hobbies.
1). I am graphic designer.
I create compelling professional flyer designs (you can connect with me to get catchy flyer designs).
2) I love music and I majorly play the bass guitar.
I started playing bass guitar some months after I graduated from secondary school.
3) I love seeing and also painting artwork.
I stopped artwork in 2019 because I desired to upgrade my tools but I wasn't able to because of finance at that time. I'll be going back to artworks anytime soon and I'd share my work here guys🤗.
4). I love to discover and develop passion in others.
I have helped quite a few friends of mine to develop their passion and pursue any good idea in their songs.
She was glad I helped her with what she loves doing.
5) I love anything related to Agriculture, be it plants or animals.
I've had a passion for taking good care of plants and animals and guess what guys👀,(my dad is an officer of The Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service) so I got a reason for my passion for animals and plants.
6) I love telling stories.
I'm now learning storytelling as a profession. Expect nice story thread and story hooks back from me soon😎.
I'm glad I joined this platform because I can share my experiences as a graphics designer, a bass guitarist, and an artwork lover with others. I'll forever be grateful to God that connected me to my wonderful friend Gifted who brought me to this amazing platform.
I'm looking forward to connecting to many of you here on Hive, and share ideas with many great minds because Hive has greatly improved my friend's life and I want my life to be greatly impacted too.

Hey brother... Sorry, my comment is coming a little bit late. Welcome to Hive, and it is nice to finally have you over. I know how long it took you to get here, with all the persuasion over the years. It came surprising as you approach me you want to join Hive. Truth is, I had lost interest in doing all because of known reasons but your persistence in disturbing me motivated me in bringing you up here.
Great to have you as part of us. You can always meet me when you have any questions in mind. You know where I live 😂😅
Thank you so much @starstrings01 . Sincerely I appreciate your time and effort to show me how things are done here on Hive.
Yes,I know I disturbed you because it was the best way to make you help me😂😂.
If course,I'm coming again this week since I know where you stay😎.

Thanks man.
Yes,I do have a lot for this platform and I'm glad I can share them with great minds like you.
Welcome aboard! I delegated some resource credits to help you comment and post more often while you get started. The best way to build a good audience is to be a good audience for others, so create conversations!
Be sure to write down your keys and keep them somewhere safe. Here is another writer's overview of which keys do what. Beware of scammers who promise quick riches or mystery airdrops, and don't enter your keys anywhere carelessly.
The HIVE community tends to be welcoming, but rewards may drop off after your introduction. Persevere! The path to success is not always fast and easy. Avoid plagiarism and spam in your posts. You'll make progress in due time. Here's a great post from another blogger with some helpful advice, too.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I don't have all the answers, but I am glad to help if I can. Most of my graphics work is just using Canva for library event flyers, so I can't exactly call myself a graphic designer just yet. Perhaps sharing some basic principles of composition and layout might be interesting?

Thank you for welcoming me @jacobtothe . My keys are safe and I'll watch out for scammers like you've said and I will keep this in mind that "The Path to success is not always fast and easy".
About sharing some basic principles of composition and layouts, I can help.
Firstly, using Canva for library event flyers doesn't make you less of a designer bro, you could even become one of the best just by doing that alone. I also started creating designs on Canva, then PixelLab, now I use my PC.
Secondly, We have different niche in graphic design, so, if your focus is creating library event flyers,it is not bad just make sure you're the best; at least amongst the best.
Very soon, I will be sharing some basic knowledge in graphic design here, make sure you don't miss it. I'd love to see you become better at it💪🤝.
Not to toot my own horn here, but I am possibly the best flyer designer in my little district! 😂
Wow, that's cool 😂
