A Neighbour Turned Friend.

We meet some people at certain time or season in our life and they seem to be an Angels, an answer to our heartfelt prayer (wishing such people will not leave our life). Humans have messed us up because of flaws, greedy and pleasures as it is in our nature, yet we meet some set of human and our experience with them will almost debunk everything bad about humans. I have met amazing individuals who have impacted and some still impacting my lives in various ways.

My next door neighbour is beautiful, intelligent, godly and has a good heart. I knew her since my first year in the university but wasn't so close, truth be told, I never thought or imagined her staying in the same hostel with me. I live in room 11 and hers is room 12. Two years ago, I didn't even see our friendship going this way. She is one that gives a 100% when she's in and a complete -100% when she isn't. Her energy could be excessive but always worth it. I love eating her food a lot, one of the first few things I always say about when I am talking her about her is her food.

Well, this next door neighbour is kinda weird, in a cool way though. She loves black colour more (like the girl in the movie, Wednesday). A devout Christian who doesn't joke about her God and His kingdom. She is intelligent and the type that always want to know more. A type of neighbour turned friend who is always eager to see her friends win, progress and excel. This lady sings so well. She is a good singer with a beautiful voice, that kind of voice that makes you wish you could sing too. She plays the acoustic guitar too.

Both of us have had several misunderstanding and issues; some didn't take time while few took days and weeks. Most of it were my fault, I hardly return the energy she gives, less emotionally aware, rarely show or say exactly how I feel. You know how guys can be so less emotional at times. I have hurt her many times, which I am not proud of. The last time we had issues was when I withdrew a little from her and another neighbour in the hostel. I barely showed up, stopped asking about things and how they are faring; when I come around, I'd just stay for a short while and leave to my room. I am that guy that doesn't like attitude, I prefer that you open up, talk and settle whatever issue it is. Once I notice a very strong bad energy and / or attitude, I will just move away for as long as that could last. I am still in the process of learning how to approach a friend who has a issue with me but only showing attitudes and bad energy.

This wonderful human and I have shared a lot together, even with others. She has a very crazy sense of humour, really sarcastic but very jovial. We are in the same level and department in school.
