Intimacy || Key to preservation!
Intimacy!
I believe there are various ways at which one can prevent having burnouts in their work places but it also depends on the area of work you engage in. While keeping in mind that some jobs or hustles are typically more demanding than another, the nature of your work greatly influences the level at which you’re getting exhausted and burned out. The organization itself also matters, your boss and even co-workers but whichever way, I have a few tips that would help prevent having burnouts and the first I would want to point out is;
Treating the most relevant cases first: yes, don’t mix things up, let it go orderly from the most severe down to the least. This is a great strategy that would help retain you on whichever work you do. Having to treat and prioritize important and urgent cases first renders satisfaction and peace of mind knowing that heavy duties have been handled and you’re only left with minor cases at hand which of course you’re confident enough of waving them off at the back of your hands with ease.
Next I will recommend taking some time off, take a break where necessary this will help you refill and rewind, giving you some more energy to start over and not get exhausted too easily or getting burned out. You are human and shouldn’t work like a bot or some device working on some solar power or something, you’ll understand that even machines do develop faults and even get worn out due to excessive work load and prolonged duty.
This may not sound so important but pay attentively to your health and inner energy, don’t over work yourself. I’ve seen a lot of cases where people work all through the day and end up falling sick. Of course you wouldn’t want that to happen to you because when you fall sick, you may be forced to either quit or take a recovery break and it might cost you a lot depending on how or what the case may be.
Another great tip that would help manage your work load and stress is when you open up and establish a good level of acquaintance and communication between you, your boss and your customers or clients. This would help you both understand each other clear and fair and trust me this may be all you need at your work place because these are the most important people around you I mean, that’s what the whole work is dependent on isn’t it?
When you’ve have a good and reasonable level of communication with your customers and your boss in particular, it goes a long way to help you reduce the workload and incoming stress that will lead to exhaustion and burn outs.
Last but not the least, try to also prioritize and give attention to things that makes you happy. It could be people, a loved one, spouse, family, friends or it could be material things like a cup of ice cream, coffee or even a simple video game this can help boost your mood and render a better and relaxed character in you putting in some more smile on your face, a delighted mood and a vibrant behavior all through your work hours.
NB: image is mine!
Is it even possible to work all day without taking a break when the person is not a bot? But I know some cases where people work and the only break they get is to eat and then continue.
This is why many modern offices do give their start at most a 1:30-minute break for them to catch back whatever energy they have lost.
This is very interesting. Also, the part where you said giving attention to things that makes you happy is very important. you can't be sad always and work well, never
1h 30 mins is indeed a good one to relax. Many people don't even have such an amount of time to rest during work.
Yes no one can be sad and still feel energized to work. That is where happiness plays an important role in your offices.
Thanks a lot
