CYCLING WITH THE KIDS
Hello, my cycling lovers I welcome you to another exciting day here and I hope you all having a great week already. it has been quite a hectic one for me though and I almost fell sick but thank goodness I’m feeling better today.
Today I’m going to share the little activity I engaged myself with during the weekend and that was going on a walk with my twin cousins and later showing them off how they could cycle on their new bicycles.
Hana
Tasha
Tasha and Hana are just three years and four months old as of now, their dad surprised them with a new bicycle two weeks ago and we decided to go for some field work on Saturday where I assisted the new cyclists on how they could maintain balance and at least feel comfortable sitting on the bicycle for now.
It was a whole lot of drama with these sassy little girls.
I’m not sure you would be able to identify which of them is Tasha and which is Hana but you can easily spot Tasha with a broader and rounded face compared to that of Hana also always putting on a kind of dubious smile.
Tasha
It took us nearly a year in one day to make Tasha understand that the bicycle wasn’t automatic and it wouldn’t move unless the cyclist wanted it to. Well, it’s a gradual process and all won’t be learned in just a day. It was an exciting evening as you can see here in the pictures, a whole lot of fun, drama, and humor filled in one evening.
We tried our very best but to no avail with Tasha meanwhile, Hana was doing impressively well at least for a first timer then all of a sudden they decided to do their twin thing. Hana decided to give Tasha a helping hand by assisting to push her twin sister from behind so she wouldn’t feel left out I guess (just me having exaggerated thoughts).
A few minutes later, another kid came joining in with his new bicycle as well, we became three altogether and they all made friends. It was an interesting evening although I didn’t even get to know the name of our new friend I'll name him Ken’ heh, all of a sudden, my girls seemed to like their new friend Ken to the point that Hana was spotted helping ken to fix his bicycle, wow, I guess he was having a flat tire or probably his carburetor became faulty or something? that was incredible and hilarious to some extent how a novice was fixing a broken bike for another novice, dramatic, and insane kid.
I couldn’t help but take beautiful pictures of the beautiful moments because it was worth it.
Soonest, we were accompanied by some BMX riders and so, the venue was no longer so safe for our new and early riders anymore as it became rough with other huge and fast bikes performing mind-blowing tricks and it was just so scary to have little kids around them even though they guaranteed us that they were professionals and nothing bad was going to happen with the kids around.
We wrapped off the day and hope to find another exciting weekend to go and another exciting adventure with our latest cyclists. Do have a wonderful day and stay Jigi.✌️
