Let's Play TerraCore on Hive!

It's hard sometimes being a gamer when you live a busy life. But this one game created by another single, brave developer has struck the fancies of many a Hiver and has even reached my far ears.

This project, which you might have heard about already, is an idle game which requires Keychain to play. It won't take up much of your time. And yet it is addicting enough that we want it to.

Premise

The game takes place on a dead world ravaged by some cataclysmic event perhaps brought on the the planet's own former inhabitants. Judging by the name of the game itself, this might be Earth (yikes!). All that remains in the barren wasteland is $SCRAP. This scrap that you mine is the lifeblood of the game right now and is used for everything.

What is Everything?

This is your main screen and HUD. I connected the corresponding stats with different color lines. Engineering increases Mine Rate. Stash Size, which represents your max claimable $SCRAP, increases your Dodge chances. Favor (we'll get to that in due time) increases critical chance. Yes, that means there is PvP! If you do not claim your earned scrap, it is potentially up for grabs for other greedy miners. Click BATTLE for a chance to steal some yourself!

When attacking other players, you must take into account their battle stats if you want a successful/lucrative steal. Choose your battles wisely and remember not to go willy-nilly! You only get 1 more attack (and claim) every 4 hours.

But Wait!

There is also a cooperative feature to the game! That's where contributions come in, which increase your Favor. Click the Explore button!

This page shows global game stats like the circulating supply as well as total staked $SCRAP. All tokens used for upgrades get BURNED (aka sent to null account).
This page also allows you to contribute some of your hard earned scrap to the cause. What is the cause, you ask? Working together to construct a massive Ark that will one day take us scrappers off this rock and to the lush water world known as Oceanea. With enough favor (1000), a single player can stake a claim on the new world, which will hold untold treasures, mysteries, and dangers.
