Doodle Magic Drawing Challenge 1 - Island Spaceport

The challenge is back and it kicks off with a very interesting shape! It is barely recognizable now from the original, shown below.

From the moment I saw that strange figure, I knew the oblong part could be a massive interstellar cargo vessel. Look closely at the many portholes it has! The ship is docked at a manufacturing facility that is also equipped with its own hangar for much smaller craft. The facility is located on a remote island where its noise, smells, and pollution bother almost nobody.

I had fun creating this scene. First I tilted the original image just a tad. I also had to add some more peaks to that island mountain range to make it look more stable and natural. The mountains' forests were cut down some time ago, but they are making a comeback. Last and most satisfying was when I filled in the ocean and night sky. Did I go overboard on this one? Hehe
