Thanks for the wishes because it's my birthday 🎉🎉🎉

It's another year of God's faithfulness in my life. I don't even know how to start this post because of how overwhelmed I am at the moment. The calls, messages, and alerts didn't stop flowing in. I am amazed at how people showed up to wish me on a new journey of another 365 days. To me, every birthday of mine is a new year for me, even though we wished ourselves a happy new year on the first of January.

It's another journey for me and it feels as if I am scared but I know God is with me in this new phase of life.

I woke up early this morning, feeling grateful. I met so many messages that I thought I wouldn't reply to them all, but I did a few while I left the others to attend the family morning devotion. Everyone including my grandma was so happy to see me alive, celebrating another year.

It was on the 12th that I started seeing how beautiful my day would be. I got alerts in my account and I was just speechless to see that. This morning, I saw another alert. I know today will go great for me.

This is the second time I will be celebrating my birthday in the village. The first one happened in the year 2020. How time flies! Here is one of the pictures I took then.

The only thing that spoiled it for me is not making a new hair. My village isn't civilized enough because, of all things that shouldn't be lacking, hair salons should be one of them. I asked my sister where I can get a good hairstylist to make my hair, she was just giving me some flimsy excuses and incompetent hairdressers. Though it hurt me, the important thing is that I am alive.

I haven't stopped replying to messages on my WhatsApp and I know there would be more calls today. I don't receive calls on my phone on a normal day. My phone can be with me for weeks, and no one would call except for WhatsApp once in a while. The only calls I receive many times are from my family and it makes me wonder why I am using a phone but since I am making money with it, nothing else matters 😂😂

Today is my birthday, I got a lot of calls till this moment which made my Aunt say the president hasn't received more than the calls I have gotten today. I know she was exaggerating 😅😅

Since I am celebrating my day, I thought of making it fun by getting this fowl so we can kill and merry together with my family.

While making breakfast this morning, I was just thinking about my age. I told my cousin if it's possible to celebrate this present age thrice, I would be happy 😂 I can see I am growing older and not younger. Some day, I would be a mother, then become a grandmother and it continues till I stop existing.

I want to believe this year will be another best one for me, especially on Hive Blockchain. Though I don't have a fat account and I am not comparing myself to those of my age or below who have made it, I know some are looking up to me and wishing they have what I have now. Everything is in process and I wouldn't rush at all.

Today's celebration will only be minimal because it's a small party with my family at night and what is important is that I am hale and hearty.

I have a lot to say because I have 29 reasons for appreciating God. Do you know why? It's because this is the 29th year of my existence in life. I don't want this post to be too long and this is to wish myself on Hive a happy birthday.
