RE: The impact of the rod

Do you know what? I noticed that 80% of children born when the parents had lost up and being the only child tend to be overly pampered and protected which leads to the child being spoilt and wayward right from time, all in the name of love to provide all he or she ever wanted or desired because he or she is the only golden child they have. So bad but they also need to be corrected alongside too.
It made me remember how stubborn I was to my parents then, it is only when I needed something I seem to care and act like a good girl but once those demands are met, I return back to my stubborn state, thanks to their constant rod on me and my siblings.
Parents really need to embrace the book of Proverbs and use it to guide children because everything one needs to train their children with is found in that book of wisdom, and following it will give them peace of mind over their kids instead of them turning wayward and becoming a menace in society.

Wow that's seems to be true, although I didn't know about the statistics but I know it's more common with such parents and product of such are always a problem to both the parent and society .
The place of discipline or rod as we put it can't be eradicated from child upbringing if we really want them to obey, in the end they'll understand that it's for their own good .
Hehehe so you're also stubborn as a child, be like I'll need get a rod for you as well
They call us "omo abinuwole" 😅😅😅 but I am a changed person now 😒
For the statistics, I assumed the percent but it's what is common.
