My Journey into Holozing...... Zing Staked and Delegated.

I was still in camp when @nkemakonam89 told me of an update that has started for a while on Hive. I wasn't that active enough to know what had been happening and I might have missed out a lot if she wasn't nice to share the update with me. The way she was excitedly explaining to me, I knew that would be one kind of opportunity I shouldn't miss out on. This is one beauty of having friends on Hive who are willing to share things with you because they believe in succeeding together instead of moving alone. When I checked, I saw a lot of people have started a long time, a month ago precisely. It's better that I jumped at it now than never.

If you are not, then you are missing out on something big. I took my time to read the whitepaper and I was moved by the inspiration behind the project. It was founded and launched by Acidyo (OCD moderator). Here is a little overview of the game (Holozing)

HoloZing is a Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game. It draws strong inspiration from classics like Pokémon and World of Warcraft. The game has four unique elements that set it apart from similar games and other web3 games:

Holozing began its work this year 2023 when Web 2 platforms handicapped the main usage of his POSH project. I remembered how Posh was doing pretty well on X when users would retweet their post links and earn posh tokens but there was this issue when he could not continue it on Twitter when it became X. He put a stop to it then and came up with another token called GOSH. This is where we rethread our posts link on Inleo and use the hashtag Gosh. Now, came Holozing. I started my journey into Holozing last week Friday and I have been earning cool rewards which are staked in my Hive Engine wallet. There are four (4) ways to earn ZING tokens, they are:

• Through staking: This is where you buy and stake ZING tokens from either hive-engine, tribaldex or leodex and stake them. When you do this, automatically you start earning rewards in ZING tokens. As of the time of writing this post, staking gives 92.69% APR.

• Through delegation: You may decide to delegate some HP to @zingtoken account and automatically starts earning reward. The APR is 57.25% as at the time of this post. When I first started, it was 70%, possibly go back to it.

• Through Posh tokens: If you have Posh tokens in your Hive Engine wallet, you earn in ZING tokens and the APR currently is 215.40%.

• Through providing liquidity: This is a method of using your liquid Hive as collateral to farm zing tokens. With this, one would not be able to enjoy curation rewards as their Hive isn't staked. Though some people prefer having liquid Hive in preparation for the bull run. The APR currently is 535.57%

Those are the four ways to earn ZING tokens at the moment and the site can be accessed through the Hive keychain app. I delegated 800 HP and staked 260 ZING tokens when I started and till now, I have earned more than 120 ZING tokens which are already staked. I do not intend to unstaking my token now as I would keep accumulating enough so that when I need to remove my delegation, I would still be earning a higher reward.

I saw lots of users who have delegated more than half of their HP which will deprive them of earning higher curation rewards. This is the reason he said in his post that we should accumulate as much as we can now so that we can have enough staked tokens to earn us higher rewards while enjoying curation rewards with our HP.

Are you ready to join the train too? It doesn't matter the little you are starting with now, the little cent you earn daily and being consistent with it will earn you higher when you have a long-term mindset on it. All you have to do is copy and paste this link on Keychain app through the browser just like this.

Login by providing your Hive username and connect with it by clicking the right top corner where my profile is. Then go to reward icon by clicking the menu at the top left corner. You may choose to delegate through the site or do that straight from your Hive wallet, and then you are on your way to earning a reward which you can claim every hour or can choose to claim once just like me. I usually claim every night before going to bed daily and I am already accumulating ZING tokens. Today makes it 4 days and it has been an amazing experience so far. I am hoping to increase my delegation when I have enough later.
