La Feria Internacional del Libro en La Habana es uno de los eventos más atractivos de la isla. Personalmente, opino que su valía reside en el carácter de formación integral/cultural y en la noble tarea de expandir las fronteras del conocimiento entre las personas. Siempre he asistido a las ferias de mi provincia Pinar del Río, mas nunca había asistido a la Feria de La Habana. Siempre he tenido el sueño de ir y poder ver lo que es una Feria en la capital y las diversas ofertas que la misma presenta. En esta oportunidad vine gracias a la hermana que la vida me presentó @gretvictcald la cual sin dudar me dijo: Nos fuimos para la Feria y te quedas en casa de mi papá!!🥳🥳

The International Book Fair in Havana is one of the most attractive events on the island. Personally, I think its value lies in its comprehensive/cultural training character and in the noble task of expanding the frontiers of knowledge among people. I have always attended the fairs in my province of Pinar del Rio, but I had never attended the Havana Fair. I have always dreamed of going and being able to see what a fair in the capital city is like and the different offers it presents. This time I came thanks to the sister that life introduced me to @gretvictcald who without hesitation told me: "We went to the fair and you stay at my dad's house!

Así que después de un día de mucha andar nos acostamos bien temprano para estar listos y puntuales en la parada. Nos levantamos temprano y en menos de una hora todos estábamos listos, éramos una tropa de 6 personas, y sin dudarlo fuimos hacia la travesía de la búsqueda del transporte. En cuestión de 40 minutos ya estábamos de camino y al llegar caminamos durante 20 minutos hasta llegar al Complejo Morro-Cabaña. Al llegar quedé asombrada por la belleza y el orden de todo. Los diversos pabellones estaban divinos y las personas frente a ellos mostraban una inmensa calidez hacia las personas. Estuvimos durante un largo rato andando y viendo las diversas ofertas. Al recorrer gran parte de los pabellones, descansamos y nos tomamos un tiempo para tomar algunas fotos y merendar algo.

So after a day of a lot of walking we went to bed very early to be ready and punctual at the bus station. We got up early and in less than an hour we were all ready, we were a troop of 6 people, and without hesitation we went to the crossing to look for transportation. In a matter of 40 minutes we were on our way and when we arrived we walked for 20 minutes until we reached the cabin. Upon arrival I was amazed by the beauty and order of everything. The various pavilions were divine and the people in front of them showed an immense quality towards people. We spent a long time walking around and looking at the various offerings. After walking through most of the pavilions, we rested and took some time to take some pictures and have a snack.

Luego estuvimos en diversas presentaciones de libros y admirando el bello trabajo y la dedicación puesta en cada una de las editoriales. Compré varios libros dentro de ellos un minilibro, lo cual me pareció el souvenir perfecto para llevarme a mi provincia y recordar, como se merece, esta 33° Feria Internacional del Libro de La Habana. Al terminar nuestro recorrido fuimos al área situada para la venta de libros de Pinar del Río, donde disfrutamos de buena música y grata compañía dado que nos encontramos con varios amigos.

Then we were in various book presentations and admiring the beautiful work and dedication put into each of the publishers. I bought several books, including a mini-book, which seemed to me the perfect souvenir to take back to my province and remember, as it deserves, this 33rd Havana International Book Fair. At the end of our tour we went to the area located for the sale of books of Pinar del Rio, where we enjoyed good music and pleasant company since we met several friends.

Al salir del Complejo Morro-Cabaña nos dirigimos al Faro con la idea de poder subir y apreciar la vista. Lamentablemente, nos avisaron muy tarde que teníamos que dar la vuelta para poder acceder a esta bella experiencia y cuando nos dirigíamos a ella a 6 minutos de llegar la persona encargada de esto nos grita que ya habían cerrado. Me quedó ese sueño por cumplir pero sé que pronto regresaré porque quedé totalmente enamorada de mi Habana, esa que tiene luces y sombras, esa que nunca duerme y siempre está activa en todos los sentidos.

When we left the lodge we went to the lighthouse with the idea of going up and appreciate the view. Unfortunately, we were told very late that we had to turn around to access this beautiful experience and when we were on our way to it, 6 minutes before arriving, the person in charge of it shouted at us that they had already closed. I had this dream to fulfill but I know that soon I will return because I was totally in love with my Havana, the one that has lights and shadows, the one that never sleeps and is always active in every way.

Después de esta experiencia mi deseo de aventura y conocer nuevos lugares ha aumentado inmensamente, es por ello que me he dado la tarea de vivir y disfrutar la vida. Capturar estos momentos con el lente y conocer gente linda y sana que tengan este mismo propósito. Esta es la verdadera esencia de la vida, el vivir intensamente y abrir nuestro diapasón a nuevas experiencias acorde a nuestros principios.

After this experience my desire for adventure and getting to know new places has increased immensely, which is why I have given myself the task of living and enjoying life. Capture these moments with the lens and meet beautiful and healthy people who have this same purpose. This is the true essence of life, to live intensely and open our tuning fork to new experiences according to our principles.
