A summer outing experience...

It was summer time and everything seems dry and the heat was not letting me stay cool in the house. Every day, I always feel like going to the beach to cool off but I don't want to go alone and Tom my lover is always busy at work.

One evening, I put a call through to him just to try if he can create time for us.

Grin grin I put my phone on speaker.
He picked, "Hey babe, how are you doing today?" I replied with a romantic voice, "Hi dear, am good"

He noticed that I am not feeling too cool from my voice so he asked, "Is anything the matter?" I replied, "Babe can't we just have one beach outing for once this summer, or don't you feel tired working every day?"

He smiles and I could hear that from his voice, then he replied, "There is this novel am working on at the moment so I won't be available all through this week but how about we make it next week?".

I was so happy that he is trying to create time for us even though he is very busy so I quickly replied to him, "Why not babe, next week will be better. I won't have anything on my desk either" We both laughed and joked a little before we ended the call.

"Arrh thank goodness, my busy bee is taking me out at last," I said to myself while heading to the kitchen to prepare food for dinner.

The day came, early in the morning I heard a car parking in front of my apartment so I quickly check from my bedroom window and it was my lover "Awww yeah, I love this guy" I said to myself as I jumped from my bed to get prepared but before I could do anything the bell at the entrance rang grin so I went straight to the door to get it because I don't want to keep him waiting before he changes his mind.

"Hey babes" I greeted him while he gave me a cool hug. Some minutes after, I was ready so we both head to the beach, on our way in his car he asked, "Do you care about reading my new novel?" I replied with a smile on my face "Why not? If I don't who will?".

He point to the dashboard so I took it out but I never read two pages before we got to the beach because he doesn't like going far so he drove down to the nearest beach close to my area.

We got there and I unpack my stuff while he was setting up for barbeque. One thing I love about Tom is that he knows how to cook and he never loves buying cooked food so he suggested that we do the barbeque ourselves instead of buying at the beach. Who I am not to agree since I love his cooking lol don't mind me.

I was done unpacking and Tom was busy with the barbeque when this beautiful young lady walked towards us then said, "Hello handsome" My face was red immediately but deep within me I said, "Dara calm down, it's just a coming with harmlessly" but the lady sat on our mat then began to flirt with my Tom, did I say my Tom? Yeah am right he is mine so I left where I was standing trying to clean out cups and then sat in between the two of them.

I face the lady and asked, "Don't you have a boyfriend because this one right here is absolutely mine" She replied "I wasn't going to take him, I just love his body shape and his muscles called me from where I was" I couldn't believe my ears and that was my first time experiencing a lady flirting with my man right in front of me and it hurt my emotions and feelings but then what can I do? I faced my man and gave him a very tight and strong kiss for the lady to excuse us.

Tom was smiling with all that I was doing and I knew that was because he knows that he was cute, yeah right but I am not bad either.

The lady saw that there is no space between us for her so she left and our beach outing went smoothly after that.
