🎸★Learning a new skill and playing the Rising Star game 🎶🎼

In previous days, I tried to practice drawing one of the rare cards from the Rising Star game with my Surface tablet. I drew "R442 MC Quinn Rapper" with free open source software, Krita. I found that it is an feature-rich software. I think it is amazing for its Free License.

Although the software is really cool with pens, brushes and other tools, I still need skills in digital drawing (I cannot draw faces well and lack other drawing skills as can be seen in my drawing above) and knowledge about the tools I will be using from the software (although it is similar to Photoshop there is still some learning curve to get familiar with the tools and interface). So, I decided to look for tutorials to fulfil both of my above needs. I looked for them by consulting with 'Bing AI' for free Krita tutorials and it gave me two useful links - the first one is a free tutorial from Udemy and the second is from Youtube as follow.

The YouTube tutorial is a long three-hour one, I cannot cram all the lessons in one sitting, so I am trying to learn it in small allotment, daily. The tutorial from Udemy is one hour in duration but it came with smaller lessons and is convenient for me. Today, I started with the lesson of choosing the tools that I will be using mostly and drawing a floor tile. I think the lesson taught me to get familiar with shading and some of the tools I will be using.

I am really interested in drawings and am also new it. "A thousand miles journey started with the first step", "Interest is the soil in which knowledge grows" and "Practice is the best of all instructors" are the sayings that motivate me. All I need is to be persistent on what I am doing and have started. And I think that drawing and sketching should be (but not compulsory) the skills that an engineer should have.

I was playing the Rising Star game and listening to the game music most of the time when I am in front of the computer. And I really like the drawing sketches of the cards in the game. I think I can learn and practice drawing and sketching from those. Today, I bought one Epic card " E200 Jeremiah". It has 360 fans and I bought it with 26000 starbits. So, it cost 72.22 startbits per fan.

And the status of my Rising Star game is as follow in the picture. I have completed 13876 total missions and my current ranking is 307. And I have finished 1058 out of 2750 "Promote Fan Club" missions.
