Recognize the giver of strength
Why will I make boast or show off when God is the giver of everything?
This was the reply the elderly man gave me when it asked him the reason he decided to keep humble despite the level at which God has blessed him with material possessions, a beautiful and agile wife, wonderful grown children, nice and wonderful grand children, good health and an everly-young kind of nature.
This man's life has always been a source of inspiration to me, it also became a concern to me when I look at his life with such a great way God has blessed him, but he's still humble, friendly, simple and accommodating.
It was out of curiosity that I made a bold step to approach him, we had a long time conversation. And due to his level of success in life and business, I (being a lover of business) decided to make him my mentor.
That wonderful reply he gave me has always been a reminder to me that God is the promoter of man, he gives man strength and wisdom to make wealth.
This has always been the thing that makes me humble, despite what I have in life, no matter my position in the society, no matter my aspiration and dreams.
Recognizing the giver of everything is basic.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Inspire People community.
OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.
