Este título nos trae una adaptación inesperada de un anime/manga popular de los 80 's, del cual yo disfruté ver algunas películas y series relacionadas. Estrenada hace poco en Netflix, siendo director Yuichi Sato.
This title brings us an unexpected adaptation of a popular anime/manga from the 80's, which I enjoyed watching some related movies and series. Recently released on Netflix, being director Yuichi Sato.
Sinopsis: Ryo Saeba es un detective privado con una gran habilidad con las armas. Debido a una peligrosa investigación, su socio Hideyuki y su hermana Kaori, se verán involucrados; al punto, que tendrá que cooperar con Kaori, para descubrir que está detrás de todo esa operación.
Synopsis: Ryo Saeba is a private detective with a great skill with guns. Due to a dangerous investigation, his partner Hideyuki and his sister Kaori, will be involved; to the point, he will have to cooperate with Kaori, to discover who is behind the whole operation.
Si no conoces la franquicia, uno de los puntos característicos de la misma es la personalidad de Ryo Saeba, que si bien es un gran profesional, es lascivo y tiene una debilidad por las mujeres hermosas, además que tiende a tomarse todo con humor; esto hace, que la película sea una mezcla de comedia, acción y un poco de drama.
If you are not familiar with the franchise, one of the characteristic points of it is the personality of Ryo Saeba, who although he is a great professional, he is lecherous and has a weakness for beautiful women, plus he tends to take everything with humor; this makes the film a mixture of comedy, action and a bit of drama.
La aventura que vemos es bastante lineal, sólo sorprenderá a los que no sepan mucho de la franquicia; sin embargo, hay unos buenos momentos de combate, con excelentes coreografías. Sobre los otros personajes, creo que hacen un buen papel, aunque creo que hubiera elegido a una persona más parecida al personaje de Kaori, le falta fuerza.
The adventure we see is quite linear, it will only surprise those who don't know much about the franchise; however, there are some good moments of combat, with excellent choreography. About the other characters, I think they play a good role, although I think I would have chosen a person more similar to Kaori's character, she lacks strength.
No logran trasladar muy bien el ambiente de vida nocturna y peligro en la película, creo que se excedieron con las escenas de día. Hay buen dinamismo, excelente el toque de escuchar varias canciones asociadas al anime.
They don't manage to transfer very well the atmosphere of night life and danger in the movie, I think they overdid it with the day scenes. There is good dynamism, excellent touch of listening to several songs associated with the anime.
Si eres un fan de la franquicia, creo que hacen un trabajo aceptable y lo podrás disfrutar. A los demás, solo les funcionara si logran conectar con los personajes o les gustan las escenas de combate.
If you're a fan of the franchise, I think they do an acceptable job and you'll enjoy it. For others, it will only work for you if you can connect with the characters or like the combat scenes.
