You are what you eat! So eat something sweet!!!- Jaggery Rice!🥰

Hope all are good and healthy.
Today I came up with a quick and very easy recipe of Jaggery Rice, that is gud ke chawal in hindi. It is an North Indian dish which is made in any occasion or festival. It is an vegan dish.
One special thing of this Jaggery Rice is that when it is completely cooled then it taste better than the hot one. For me, this is my personal experience that after 2 to 4 hours of making Gud k chawal I prefer to eat that because the taste is just much more better and yummy. It doesnot mean that you have to eat it cool. Its totally your choice to have it cool or hot.

This recipe is for those who have a sweet tooth and specially for kids. They love this to have and Jaggery is better option than sugar.


INGREDIENTS-:

✅ 3 tbsp -ghee

✅3 nos- cardamon

✅1 cup washed rice

✅1½ cup water

✅1 fennel seeds

✅1 tbsp cashew

✅1 tbsp almond

✅1 cup Jaggery


METHOD:

  1. Wash the rice properly and soak it for 15 mins.

2.In pressure cooker add clarified butter and fennel seeds. Then add 1 cardamon and water.

3.crush some Jaggery.

4.then put the Jaggery in the cooker and stir it .

5.give it a boil.

6.then add sokaed rice and stir it

7.cover the lid of the cooker.

8.give 1 ½whistle and then off the flame.

9.open the lid and mix it. Add some cashews and almolds

10.Now tansfer the Jaggery Rice into a bowl and have it or you can have it later on too.


I hope this easiest way of making Jaggery rice will be helpful for you all.
