Prepared Instant Rava Vada (Semolina Vada in Doughnuts shape)😋

Hello hiveans! Hope all are doing well.

I have always been a huge fan of instant recipes. If some guest are coming or have arrived to surprise you then you can make instant recipes without any hassle. So in my today's blog I am going to share instant Rava Medu Vada recipe. It is alternative that you would love it when compared to urad dal medu vada. It doesn't need any grinding, soaking or fermentation. I generally prepare this in any weekdays if there is nothing to cook in the kitchen🤣.

The other benifit of this recipe is the ease of shaping the vada. We may find difficult to shape an urad base dough, but with rava it is stiff and that's why it is easily shaped and holds the shape of doughnuts.

So let's see how to make this vadas-

●In a kadai take 2 cup water, half spoon salt and 1 tblspoon oil. Get to a boil.

●Once the water starts to boil add 1½ cup of rava stirring continuously.

●Keep stirring until the rava absorbs the water.

●Simmer for 2 mins or until the rava is cooked.

●Transfer the cooked rava to a large bowl. Also add cumin, salt,pepper, chopped onions, green chili, coriander and some lemon juice.

●Mix well making sure everything is well combined.

●Now Grease hand with oil and pinch a large ball sized mixture.
Roll and flatten slightly, also make a hole in a centre.

●Deep fry the vada in hot oil, keeping the flame on meduim.

Fry untill the vada turns golden brown amd crisp.
Drain off to remove excess oil.

Enjoy rava bada with tomato ketchup, chutney or hot pipping Sambhar.
It tastes great when served hot and crispy
