Iron Rich Fenugreek Flatbread(Methi ka parantha)

Hello hiveans! Hope all are good and healthy.

Indian cuisines has lots of varieties in Flatbread that means parantha. Like Aloo parantha, gobhi parantha, Spinach parantha, Methi parantha, raddish parantha etc. And we love to eat paranthas anytime. It's all time favorite dish.

In my home paranthas are cooked often with less oil. So, today I am going to share a recipe of Methi Parantha(fenugreek Parantha).
Fenugreek leaves parantha are delicious and healthy. These parantha contains iron because fenugreek leaves has iron. So it's a iron rich meal.
The paranthas are eaten with pickle, curd or chutney.
Lets see how to make yummy delicious healthy and iron rich Parantha for meal-:

METHOD

1.First we pluck the meethi leaves from the stalks. Wash methi leaves thoroughly for few times and drain the water. Again soak the leaves in water and for 2 to 3 min. Then gently remove the leaves from water. This will remove mud that are on the leaves.
Drain all the water.

2.Chop the leaves and put in a bowl or platter.

2.Then add gram flour.

2.add wheat flour,

3.add salt, red chili powder, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder and carom seeds and one teapn oil.

4.Mix all well and add water slowly as required and knead a soft pliable dough. Remember fenugreek leaves realses water so donot pour much water at a time.

If the dough feels sticky then sprinkle some wheat flour and knead again.

5.smear some oil and divide the dough balls into equal size.
Flatten the balls, dust some flour and roll it.

6.Roll it in circle.

7.Heat a skillet and put the parantha on the skillet or tawa.

8.flip the parantha and spread some oil or clarified Butter.Keep the flame meduim.

9.Press the edges with the back of spatula and cook well.
Cook from both the sides till the parantha appears brown spots.

10.The meethi paranatha is ready to serve. Serve warm with chutney /curd/ pickle .
