HomeMade Ghee(clarified butter)๐Ÿ˜

Welcome to my blog hiveans! Hope all are in good health.

Its another beautiful Sunday. Today I came up with a new recipe.
Nowadays I am listening so much about the adulteration of food. It includes colours, taste, volume, weight and self life of the product in food . It is not legal because by this we have a loss of food quality. So that's why I started to make clarified butter (ghee) at home. It is golden liquid in colour. In India it is used to make Paranthas, pudding (halwa) , sweets , dals, porridge and used in Ayurveda for medicine If you are making home made ghee then it is more tastier and flavour. The home made things are pure and unadulterated.
Once you started to make ghee at home, I assure you will never store the market ghee at home.

We will make ghee by simmering butter or cream, and the caramelized milk solid will set down then strain the ghee and store it.

Lets see how to make this-

1.In a pan take all the cream.

2.with the help of whisk we can churn it /whisked it .

3.It will take about 15mins to whisk it.

4.now add 2 to 3 glass of water according to the size of pan.

5.now collect the thick butter.

6.now transfer in a kadhai or pan.Used heavy bottom pan.

7.Heat it and let it melt.

8.As the butter begin to turn hotter,it wil froth.

Give a stir and keep the flame low.

Now we can see the butter begins to bubbles rapidly.
The colour of the butter will change in yellow.

All the milk solids will settle at the bottom. The milk solid will become brown in color.

Now off the gas.
Let the temperature of ghee cool down ..
Now filter the ghee in a jar and cover it tightly.

This ghee will remain fresh for longer.

I hope this homemade butter or clarified butter gives you the authentic taste of Ghee.
You can apply this on your chpped lips also to prevent dryness and cracks

Both Indians and Pakistanis have many similarities. Ghee is very costly in Pakistan. I like the Ghee that we grabbed from Buffalo Milk because it has less amount of fats. Thank you for sharing a detailed process.
