A warm Cheesy Potato Hug with a crust--- AU GRATIN!

Welcome to a new Post! Half of the november passed and remaing days will also pass. Then chritsmas will come and finally the New Year! Hope all will remain happy healthy and active.

Today I want to share a Recipe I made last Sunday! Au gratin .
The creamy cheese sauce and slice potatoes make a delicious flavour combination. This vegetable Au gratin dish I wanted to make for sometime..
I made it and shared with you all. Though it was not that perfect, because the cheese became more dark than usual one. I want to make again this dish perfectly. But no worries! the taste was great!
So lets see what we need to make vegetable Au Gratin-::


INGREDIENTS

Broccoli-½cup
Potatoes-2 cups
Onion-1 cup
Butter-1tbsp
All purpose flour -½cup
Milk-½ cup
Salt'-to the taste
Pepper-½tspn
Cheese-400gm
Oregeno-½tbspn
Water-½cup


Method

preheat oven at 200°c

Chop potatoes as shown in the pic.

Then chop onions and fry it till they are golden brown.

Now heat butter in a pan.

then add all purpose flour.

Mix it properly and cook for a min. Now add little milk and mix it till it smooths.

Then add salt, pepper and oregano.

Now take bowl and apply butter or oil.

Then arrange potatoes slices accordingly shown in the pics.

Place the potato slices properly.
Then spread the white creamy sauce.

After that add broccoli and fried onion slices.

Then add some cheese.

Then again place potato slices. Cover up it with cheese.
And keep it in preheated oven for 45 min or till the potatoes are tender and brown on top. Keep a close eye on it so that it doesn't burn.

Sprinkle some thyme and serve!!!
