Experiencing sense of fulfillment
Hello everyone Good evening and welcome to my blogs.
Recently, I took a week off to be with my family as there was a local election to fill the positions of the chairman and councilors in our area. It was interesting to note how friends and neighbors were talking about their preferred candidates and the initiatives they had proposed, which created an air of excitement and expectancy.
In this regard, I took this time to get back in touch with my family. We would have dinners together, entertain ourselves and talk about the previous elections during the week. These activities always showed me why it is important to strengthen and build the communities around us and more so the input of every single one of us in that process.
My relatives invited a few friends and neighbors over to discuss the election. It was interesting to hear all different opinions and ideas, and this made the participants feel good about the discussion. I especially liked the part when the children of the family insisted on understanding why people vote and why it was important to be a citizen.
In addition to the election happenings, we found time to relate well with one another and have fun. We engaged in indoor sports, watched a few films, and strolled in the neighborhood for an extended period of time. This one week made me appreciate the importance of having family support as it helps when adapting to new situations or enduring uncertainty.
When the day of the polls drew near, I experienced a sense of fulfillment, being in an association that takes part in building its future. This week not only brought my family closer, but also heightened my respect for the political processes. I came back home healthy, motivated, and eager to keep active in contributing to the progress of our community.
