Every night here in Toledo is the best, and today’s story I’m gonna share here is my night in Toledo Arcade last weekend. Every month of June 12 here in Toledo is a celebration of their fiesta and Independence Day, some people here had a double celebration of their fiesta and Independence Day where they had gatherings with their family and friends to celebrate the said day occasions.

Last week, on Saturday we went again to their plaza to have a dinner date and stroll around the venue. First thing first, we went to church to join the mass and pray to God to thank him for everything. I was amazed at their church here because it’s a kinda beautiful and calm place and it’s not crowded, and when you enter here the first thing you will see is the beautification and cleanliness of their church. I also love the people who are homeless here because they are so nice and friendly and by the way, a lot of homeless people here stayed in this church one thing I love here is that they are not strict here. The people here were so friendly and they treated you like their family. After we prayed inside, there were a few pictures I captured here outside the church, and one thing I was amazed about that day was the beauty of the clouds in front of the church. Since it is almost their fiesta here they also decorate some flaglets in front of the church and the thing I love here is the ambiance and the beauty of their church.

After a few minutes outside the church, I saw these young people partners who were gowns and tuxedos to have their procession to celebrate the Flores De Mayo English means Flowers of May, for you to know that May here in the Philippines especially the Roman Catholic Church celebrate the Flores De Mayo it is a festival every whole month of May the devotion of Virgin Mary. And that day I saw this was that were so blessed and it is timing also the we saw this kind of celebration after the church. I captured everything a lot of young people who celebrate this festival and I so enjoyed watching them. I remember the days when I was young before I also attended Flores De Mayo because my Grandmother is also devoted to the Virgin Mary so they always asked me to attend Flores De Mayo and as I saw this I missed my childhood life.

As I strolled around I saw this pretty Kalachuchi flower and I was so amazed. It was the first time I saw a kalachuchi that big because some of this is like a flower and then I was so amazed that it’s a tree kalachuci here in Toledo. I enjoyed capturing this kind of flower.

And then after we attended the church and Flores de Mayo festival we went to their famous food house here in Toledo the Tatings, it is a famous fast food here in Toledo and their food here is so affordable they serve so many delicious menus and there are lots of dishes here like sizzling foods. These are what we order.

We were so fed up with ratings, that we planned to stroll around the plaza and I was so amazed at their food park here. I like the design of their bamboo entrance here and if you want to enter their food park here you will see a lot of barbecue stations inside the food park and lots of liquor drinks.

We strolled again and I saw this statue of Jose Rizal in front of their Capitol Hall, and for you to know that Jose Rizal was our first national hero here in the Philippines and he was also a president before. I was amazed at the statue of Jose Rizal here in Toledo and I was happy that I already visit their Capitol site.

And the last thing as we strolled around the arcade and plaza, I saw beautiful cotton candies and beautiful balloons. I remember when I was a kid, my late cousin Febe Erika loved to eat cotton candies and we picked colors if we bought these cotton candies the violet and pink colors. I miss my childhood memories and every time I see things like this, I always remember my late cousin and I miss her a lot.
