For Lease
It's getting to the end of the year and if someone had told me earlier this year that I would remain at my hostel till date, I wouldn't have believed it because all of my plans for the year indicated that I was going to leave the entire state before the end of the first quarter of this year.
But then life happened and a lot of unforseen stuff came up, stuff that only I could handle and I needed to be present in this state myself to solve it. It continued like that until it got to an extent where I decided it was best to suspend any plans to travel because it seem like I haven't handled my business as well as I had thought.
And why that may have been true, that was only half the truth. You see, there were mainly two reasons why I wanted to remain back. The first being to solve the problems I had here, the second being about my hostel and how much fun it was getting.
You see, up till this year my hostel wasn't exactly as lively as it has been this year, if the fun there used to be at 50%, it got close to 85% percent this year and created a whole lot of excitement in me because I was more than ready for all of the fun.
Anyways, two guys had walked up to me today, asking me to help them locate empty hostels in my area so that they could inspect it and maybe pay for it. Looking at them, my instinct had told me to take them to my hostel because if there's one thing I've learnt in this school, it's that school stress is easier to handle when you have a nice hostel to go back to... Because to me, the school is a war front, while my hostel is the one place I could relax, be happy and feel safe.
Unfortunately they had said no without even getting into the hostel, apparently they wanted something a lot more attractive, so I had done just that, I had taken them to the newest hostel in the area and I wasn't surprised when I saw how much they loved it. I love it too and probably would have moved to that hostel if I didn't know this one thing about mine.
Getting a good hostel means a lot more than we think because it's not just about a good building, the people in it too matters a lot...and I know that we can't know if the people in an hostel are good ones until we've lived with them, but if someone like me tells you about it, please believe it.
I do hope that they've made the best hostel choice but I still felt a bit sad at the fact that they didn't believe me.
