How hard can this game be? Fighting against the winds in Celeste
Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
I am back with another episode of my Celeste series. We narrowly escaped from an old hotel where Mr. Oshiro tried his best to make Madeline his guest but after some harsh words from the other personality of Madeline, he got mad and chased us nearly to death.
We met with the old lady again!
Madaline was not too excited to meet her. The old lady laughed at us for attempting to climb Celeste Mountain. She still gave us an option to leave from a short cut but we are too resilient to do that.
We moved on and our next chapter starts, the Golden Ridge. We were warned to stay aware of the winds. I didn't think they would be that much of a problem but I was wrong.
The winds made it a bit challenging. Sometimes the directions of the winds will change from one scene to the other or it will stop in the middle of the jump and the character will not go as far as you originally though. It was a fun challenge.
But I still think the difficulty was not as bad as the previous chapter. I hated the hotel with my guts!
This chapter introduced a lot of new platforming challenges. It used a lot of bubbles, spikes and moving platformers which the character can control.
It wasn't a long chapter but some of the sections were a bit more challenging, especially collecting those berries. I tried to collect as much as I could and didn't leave anyone behind once I saw them. But I still missed many in this chapter which I got to know after the chapter ended and I didn't get the cassette which unlocks the B-side. I am not even sure if there is a B-side in this chapter.
At the end of the chapter Madeline reached a Gondola ride and Theo, the other explorer, joined us. We saw Theo last time in the Hotel trying to get out of it. It's a good thing he made it out too.
We started our Gondola ride and Madeline had a panic attack in the middle of the ride but Theo was there to help her and taught her a breathing technique to calm down. It worked perfectly and after some time the ride started again. It was a relief for both the climbers.
Here are my stats for this chapter. Even though I felt that this chapter was not as hard as the previous one, it still took me almost one and a half hours and 323 deaths! But the surprising part for me is the missing 28 berries. I didn't miss any intentionally. They must be hiding good and I will do these chapters again to get all the berries.
I almost forgot to tell you that Theo is an "InstaPix" influencer and likes to take selfies to share them with his followers look at this selfie which they took just after the Gondola ride got stuck and Madeline was scared.
Thanks for reading!

Wow bruv, this game looks so tricky 😂 for real. I totally get what you mean about feeling challenged but determined to keep going. It's like when I tried to learn to ride a bike, kept falling, but eventually, I got the hang of it. Keep at it, you'll definitely crack it. You're the main man bruv
Yup, that's exactly like learning a bike but each level/room is like learning a new vehicle. You will crash and fall off a lot of time but eventually will get through it. You can see I died more than 300 times alone in this chapter.
😂😂😂 did you say more than 300 times 😂😂😂
Yup, but the good thing is you don't lose the progress and each time you fail you learn something new. Some of the levels are too tight that you need to jump or stand on narrow platforms and every precise movement matters.
That's absolutely dope P. Imagine this in real life though 😳
Lol, I thought those were bullets firing (the wind).
But believe me such games are always difficult for me. They require a lot of patience. Lol
LOL
This one is quite challenging. There are much more difficult levels similar to these which can be unlocked by getting a Casettee and I fear those are very hard for me.
Hectic stuff dude! The winds are pounding away!
Too hectic, my man.

Wao, this is my first time seeing a game like this but I love the gameplay actually. It's soo entertaining. Even with the way you analysed it. Good one.
It is quite fun and one of the best-rated in this genre. Highly recommended.
Wao, I think I should go in search of this and see what it really feels like to play it

Platform video games are my favorite because of this: I love the way Celeste looks. Visually it's beautiful. The gameplay seems to be no slouch. I'll put it down to play. I like when there's enough difficulty, I think I'll find it here hahaha.
