Exploring New and Rare Star Systems in No Man's Sky
Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I made a lot of progress in my No Man's Sky journey. Gathered a lot of resources, and explored a lot of systems, planets and space stations. I completed many side missions and met some online players at the Anomaly who gave me hundreds of millions of Units worth of random items for no reason. XD
So, I am super rich in the universe now...lol. Grinding for resources and money is not why I love this game, it is the exploration part of it. Jumping to new systems visiting planets and moons and uploading all the data. Finding new species of plants and animals along with random items is what I am looking for and with me being rich now, I bought a new A-Class Starship with more storage and attacking strength.
I didn't know destroying ships in space was such fun. I did a lot of space fighting and it is quite an enjoyable aspect of the game for me.
I have been collecting a lot of exosuit upgrade charts from both the cartographers and random missions and upgrading the storage for my technology slot was my priority for some time. Also, I added some cargo slots as well. I am a hoarder and I hate the "Inventory Full" warning.
Fortunately, finding them and upgrading them is not difficult, you just need to craft three simple things.
For the first time, I warped to a rare red system. This one is called the "Yugami-Inn" System and no one had been here before. I didn't know anything about it.
At first, it looked like any other normal system. It has 3 planets and 3 moons.
I went straight to the first planet that I saw. I have also upgraded my Hyperdrive and it is more fuel efficient. I love the hyperdrive animation too.
I scanned it from the space and it seems to be quite rare with Cadmium and Ancient Bones. I had no idea what Ancient Bones meant here. Also, I have never been on a planet with Aggressive Sentinels.
It had no fauna which was strange. This was my first planet with no animal species. The Sentinels here were such a pain, they would just open fire by only seeing you and they were everywhere on the planet.
It had some rare resources though, including Whispering eggs and Gravitino Balls. If you try to mine the egg it would burst into a swarm of deadly insects looking things which are not easy to take care of.
I was struggling so much against those powerful Sentinels that I just left the planet to look for a less hostile one.

The next planet was a ringed planet with two moons orbiting it. It looked quite beautiful. But when I looked back to the planet that I just left, I saw a moon orbiting it. I had to go there and see if it was any different from the planet.
I had never been to a moon before so it was my first moon landing.
I was surprised to see a lot of flora and fauna on the map. It was quite different from the planet itself. But it was extremely radioactive. I had the shield installed for that on my exosuit but it was going down too quickly.
There were frequent storms on this moon which would bump up this radioactivity to even higher levels and I had to take shelter in my ship.
Even with this much radioactivity, this place was booming with life. Strange alien worms were flying in groups over my head.
It had so many interesting plants. It was brimming with plants.
I got the reason for this extreme radioactivity as soon as I saw big deposits of Uranium. I mined a lot of it.
One of my favourite things to do on these planets/moons is tag all the animal species. I started tagging them and reading about them. It just had seven species with three of them being flying type.
The biggest and rarest among them is this beast. Thankfully, it was passive and didn't attack me.
The storms were very frequent and taking shelter in caves is a good strategy to get out of the storm. It is still not as effective as being inside a building or your ship but still protects you enough.
Even the caves were packed with flora and fauna.
I uploaded all the fauna data and received more than 1500 Nanites. This is a good way to earn more Nanites for me and I love to explore and read about these creatures.
I will explore the rest of the two planets in this system and write about my experiences. For now, I will leave you with some random shots that I took in this beautiful infinite universe.
I love playing with the photo mode in this game, there are a lot of interesting filters and other creative options in the photo mode. I will share more photos from this beautiful game.

Wow bro No Man's Sky looks epic. It's amazing how the game offers such diverse experiences, from intense space battles to serene moments exploring new planets. Those photo mode shots too capture the beauty of the game perfectly. Good one bro
This is a great one, it seems one would need to be smart enough to be able to get all these you have gotten. I am sure it worth playing, will go see it by myself and have some fun with it. Thanks for sharing
The game is for sure a good one. And when you mentioned about running from the planet I remember my AC journey where I also do the same when so many guards just surround me 😅
This game has many things and worlds to exlorar definitely I have it on my list to keep trying, I remember getting to make a base on another planet and stay at that point in the story, it was just after that the game started to make me dizzy just to sit and play.
It is an amazing game, so many things to explore and discover. You can be the first person to discover so many uncharted planets. It really gives you the feeling of discovery new things and you can name them as well. Very cool. I also got this in 50% sale recently from Steam.

This your gaming story is so intriguing. It is as if I am the one playing the game.
Lovely write up
Hi and thank you for your encouraging words. I try to make it as interesting as I can. Still experimenting with my story telling skills.

Bruv! The idea of being able to move between planets in a generated galaxy seems whack to me! Just completely whack! I mean something like Mass Affect where a galaxy is planned and built in advance is just not of the same caliber at all. I am willing to get this though 🤣 I saw Kaelci also played this a while back!
It is an amazing idea. Procedural generated worlds and entire universes can be really fun. We need more sandbox games which can harness this cool concept and make something really unique and big. (No Man's Sky is really big though...lol)
I heard it massive! I should start downloading it now!
It does have some single player aspect right? Or is it purely multiplayer??
You can play however you want. I love to play solo and discover planets and do the story quest at my own time.
