Hello friends am glad to share an amazing teaching from Bro Eli Sariano message with you today,on the Topic-

Hearing but not listening to God's word.

it's an eye opening and it's a message that will help us to reflect more on our lives wether we are listening to God or not.

From this teaching,I believe and know that it is possible to hear without understanding.
I believe, alot of people have heard God's word but they do not listen, neither can they assimilate and they cannot perceived.
These set of people are idolaters.
Satan had blinded their eyes ,their eyes are blocked therefore it's hard for them to hear and listen.
In today's world alot of people are comfortable in sin,they dwell in sin though they have heard the scriptures.
Indeed they have been blinded by Satan who is the enemy of God.
And they are idolaters.
In this message there are many forms of idolatry which is the truth because the bible has confirmed it.
It's important for us to take note of other forms of idolatry.
Because idolatry is beyond bowing down before idols.

Colossians 3:5 (KJV) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

The above scripture shows that it's not only bowing down before an idol that makes a person an idolaters
But idolaters are people who indulged in things like:

• fornication
• Uncleanness
• inordinate affection
• evil concupiscence

Also in the book of

Ephesians 5:5 (KJV) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

This also states that,no idolaters will inherit the kingdom of Christ.
And they included, whoremonger, unclean person and a covetous person.
This is a great lesson and as christians we need to listen to God's word, assimilate it, understand and received it .so that we will not fall into idolatry.
