There are many things I like on the Hive blockchain. One of them, for various reasons, is HSBI. I think HSBI is worth supporting, as well as activity in general on our blockchain. That's why I decided to start a daily HSBI giveaway.

Yesterday there were the first winners of this series and I also gave feedback or constructive criticism (if any) to the individual winners as to why I chose these particular Hivians. But... I think constructive criticism is fundamentally good, but I will no longer write it for each individual winner, but independently. That way, nobody has to feel like they've been stepped on. However, I will continue to assign positive aspects to the winners. And anyone who reads the “criticism block” can then see for themselves whether they see themselves in it or whether they might have potential for improvement on this or that point. But who am I to judge? I would like to share a good saying with you: “Don't judge if you don't want to be judged yourself.”. “Judging” has little to do with constructive criticism, but I shouldn't impose my principles and views on everyone else or believe that ‘you should do it this way or that way’. In the end, it's only well-intentioned - but I don't need to stand up to anyone in public and say “You could or should...”

Yesterday I wrote “Unfortunately, there can only be 3 winners.” Yes... but under the last post no one really (for me) clearly applied for the HSBI. What now?
I already want to build more HSBIs. Sure, I could just sponsor them @CryptoCompany, where they are very much needed. But this is not about ego trips, it's about doing something good for Hivians and supporting them on their way.
In the future, I will probably do it this way: if there are no new applicants, I will simply resend to the previous winners. So congratulations again to @mes, @michael561 and @sylmarill! You have won! Again. Because you were worthy of support yesterday - why should today be any different? And you also thanked me nicely! Social interaction! Rewarding! So...

Es gibt viele Dinge, die ich auf der Hive Blockchain mag. Eines davon ist, aus verschiedenen Gründen, HSBI. HSBI halte ich für unterstützenswert, ebenso wie Aktivität generell auf unserer Blockchain. Darum habe ich mich entschieden, ein tägliches HSBI-Giveaway zu starten.

Nun...
Gestern gab es ja die ersten Gewinner dieser Serie und ich habe auch Feedback oder konstruktive Kritik (falls vorhanden) zu den einzelnen Gewinnern geben, warum ich gerade diese Hivians ausgewählt habe. Aber... Konstruktive Kritik finde ich grundlegend gut, werde diese aber nicht mehr zu jedem einzelnen Gewinner schrieben, sondern unabhängig. Somit muss sich auch niemand auf den Schlipps getreten fühlen. Positive Aspekte werde ich aber weiterhin den Gewinnern zuordnen. Und wer den "Kritik-Block" liest, kann dann selbst schauen, ob er sich darin evtl. sieht oder ob er an diesem oder jenem Punkt eventuell Potenzial zur Verbesserung haben könnte. Aber wer bin ich, das ich richte? Einen guten Spruch, den ich einfach mal mitgeben will: "Richte nicht, wenn Du selbst nicht gerichtet werden willst." "Richten" hat nur wenig mit konstruktiver Kritik zu tun, aber ich sollte meine Prinzipien und Ansichtsweisen nicht auf alle Anderen aufdrücken oder glauben "Du solltest es so oder so machen.". Am Ende ist das nur gut gemeint - aber ich brauche niemanden öffentlich hinstellen und sagen "Du könntest oder solltest..."

Ich möchte schon weitere HSBI aufbauen. Klar könnte ich die auch einfach @CryptoCompany sponsoren, wo sie sehr gebraucht werden. Aber hier soll es ja nicht um Ego-Trips gehen, sondern um bemühten Hivians etwas Gutes zu tun und sie auf ihrem Weg zu unterstützen.

Paul, I am very happy everytime I see you still grinding away. Its hard, but I think this type of post, including the HSBI, is really good long term habit to create a sustainable environment where advancements can continue to be made.

Completely honest: I don't act for a bull or bear. I act because I acted a lot in the past and made a promise to the people who believe(d) in me and CCCEO, don't want to disappoint, have a lot of skin in the game, invested sooo much time (we are talking about years now...)... Plus you know what Hive can be: revolutionary. I really have a bunch of reasons - and more I didn't mentioned. The bull is a nice addition, but the bear is something I got used to LOL. When I have sometimes less time for the chain, it's just because I have to work IRL more, to be able to finance and develop @CryptoCompany or fill the fridge. Lastly we all are waiting for the main game and a few things that are bundled with it. I welcome the bull, but don't care about the bear. I care more about that people who believe in me and that I don't disappoint them. Them, but also me.

I honestly forgot to respond to your first announcement, in drafting my post about HSBI, but really appreciated the criticisms you offered! I've been, behind-the-scenes, shifting my writing process to work a bit better for Hive, but as you say, it's hard to figure things out when there's so much going on, and so many different moving parts!
Yeah, I agree: sometimes things can be overwhelming... I know what you are talking about. LOL

P.S.: Your post about HSBI was great! I already saw it a day ago. Cool stuff! When you do research this deep, why not make a post collection (and pin it to your profile) out of and offer it like "things you could like to know about Hive" or something this style... Just an idea I had. Would be great to see more of this kind of content & have it in a way where Hivians can find it. People will say "Go over to Michael, he has a great collection there for ..."

Why not? Because it hadn't occurred to me! Thanks for the suggestion. I also only just learned that I can edit my posts (I'd assumed blockchain meant they were immutable) so I'm thinking about putting together a couple compilation posts, that stitch together my writing about Hive in a way that explains why I'm writing so much about Hive. (I want it to be the hub my family's new land project uses to share info about itself.)
I believe HSBI is long term view of our commitment to support the Hive Ecosystem by using our Hive liquid instead of no action or withdrawing to exchange.
It is a project I personally joined years ago and still send token to HSBI main accounts to grow the stake on the project. I don't know if I qualify to join the giveaway since my stake is already at certain amount. However, the addition of HSBI to my current stake will be welcome if you send it to my direction.

I don't know if I'm really worthy of HSBI, but I've been posting regularly since 2017, try not to miss a day (unless on purpose), attempt to offer quality content and engage and interact with comments as much as possible. I also reward good comments from a pool of 10% of my author rewards. There are many smaller and younger accounts who are good contenders, but if they don't want HSBI, I will be happy to accept a larger HSBI share.

Sure, there may be "smaller" Hivians who can earn HSBI here, too. But there I make no difference. Because I don't like to say "Yeees, sure you dod a lot to grow, but now you can't harvest the fruits from it..." You are a good Hivian - and this counts for me.

I am still trying to meet a goal of 120 HSBI to support daily posting habits here on hive. I am beginning to post more and more, and my comments have been much more consistent. Always quality. This year I am hoping to post daily but please don't hold me to it XP
