This morning, as the sun slowly rose, I set off along the Leça River Green Corridor. The crisp air, frost-covered fields, and mist rising from the river created a magical atmosphere. It was the perfect way to clear my mind, enjoy the beauty of the outdoor.

This morning, I decided to take a walk along the Leça River Green Corridor. The air was crisp, and a thin layer of frost covered the fields, making everything sparkle under the soft morning light. It was a chilly morning, so much so that I could see mist rising from the river. The contrast of the water against the cold air created a mystical and peaceful atmosphere.

Esta manhã, decidi dar um passeio pelo Corredor Verde do Rio Leça. O ar estava fresco e uma fina camada de geada cobria os campos, fazendo com que tudo brilhasse sob a suave luz da manhã. Estava uma manhã fria, tanto que conseguia ver a neblina a subir do rio. O contraste da água com o ar frio criava uma atmosfera mística e pacífica.

The path along the river is flat and well-maintained, making it perfect for a morning walk, a jog or even a bike ride. It stretches peacefully beside the river, allowing anyone passing by to enjoy the beauty of nature. Walking here feels refreshing!

O caminho ao longo do rio é plano e bem conservado, o que o torna perfeito para uma caminhada matinal, uma corrida ou até mesmo um passeio de bicicleta. Estende-se tranquilamente junto ao rio, permitindo a qualquer pessoa que por ali passe apreciar a beleza da natureza. Caminhar aqui é revigorante!

The best part of this route is walking right next to the river. The calm water reflects the trees and every now and then, a small bird flies over, adding to the peaceful ambiance. The natural beauty of this place makes it an ideal spot to clear the mind and prepare for the day ahead.

A melhor parte deste percurso é caminhar mesmo ao lado do rio. As águas calmas refletem as árvores e, de vez em quando, um pequeno pássaro voa nas proximidades, contribuindo para o ambiente tranquilo. A beleza natural deste local faz dele um local ideal para limpar a mente e preparar-se para o dia que tem pela frente.

One of the best things about heading out early is the stillness. The world is just waking up and the roads are almost empty. There is something incredibly calming about walking while most people are still sleeping, as if you have the whole world to yourself.

As I walked further along the path, I noticed how the frost-covered grass shimmered in the early morning light. The sight of tiny ice crystals clinging to the blades of grass made the landscape feel almost magical.

One of the best things about walking along this trail is the chance to appreciate nature up close. I saw a few ducks gliding effortlessly across the water. I also noticed the variety of trees lining the path, their branches reaching out over the water. Some were still bare, their leaves lost to the winter, while others held onto a few golden leaves that shimmered in the light. The contrast between the bare branches and the lush evergreens added to the beauty of the landscape.

One of the joys of morning walks is encountering others who share the same love for the outdoors. While the path was mostly quiet, every now and then, I would see someone pass by some jogging, some cycling and others simply walking like me.

It felt good to be part of this quiet community of early risers, each of us enjoying the peacefulness of the morning in our own way.

Many successful people swear by their morning routines, whether its exercise, meditation or journaling. For me, walking offers a combination of all these benefits, physical movement, mindfulness, and the opportunity to reflect on the day ahead.

While rest is important, theres something invigorating about starting the day actively, breathing in the crisp air, and being surrounded by nature quiet beauty.
