A Beautiful Sublime Sunday - Bird Songs From the Boreal Forest
One thing that delights me is the different birds calling from the trees.
Living right in the Boreal forest I get to hear a wide variety of birds for it is the breeding grounds for many of the songbirds.
I have a few samples to share with you...
Pair of Evening Grosbeaks Catching Some Sun on Poplar Tree
It's just been the last few weeks when we've had a multitude of grosbeaks singing from the trees and visiting our bird feeder. They would often be the first birds I hear in the morning as a flock comes to sit in the tree tops. Listen to their calls...
Another group of birds that have only recently arrived is the colorful purple finches with a more delicate call then the grosbeaks.
Below is the lovely red male purple finch which is much more colorful than the female which is shown singing from the poplars in an image further down. Listen to their call below...
Finch Singing From the Poplar Tree
The finches when they are looking for a mate have a more distinct melodious call - listen in...
The bluejays have thinned down a bit but they can still be quite noisy with their call. They can make a wide arrange of sounds, some sound like hawks while others have more throaty sound - they are quite interesting.
Bluejay at the Feeder
Listen to the bluejay calling it's friends...
Being that there is lots of lakes around us I often hear the seagulls. Here you can hear a chorus of grosbeaks, seagulls and finches...
And of course I can't leave out the chickadees - they are still plentiful plus it is mating season so they are extra noisy as they call for their mates.

Listen to the chickadee calling for a mate...
A cute little bird who has been hanging around our place all winter is the red breasted nuthatch and it found a mate this spring - I was so happy to see that!

Listen to the sound of the male nuthatch calling after the female...
The robins are getting quite plentiful around here now - love their cheery red breasts.

Listen to the robin calling from the treetop...
On our walk down the wooded trail again we heard the finches and the call of the white throated sparrow. There was another wistful call but I'm not sure what it was. Listen In...
And finally I'll leave you with the sound of the geese. You always know when a goose is coming for they are honking while they fly.

Loved your first photo, looks like mirror images.
Wow, that bluejay is really loud as you mentioned.
Awww, what a bonus with the sounds of the different birds, such a delightful post!
Thank you so much!
The paradise you show us with the most innocent and sublime beings, who does not like a beautiful chirping especially in the mornings, nothing more therapeutic and optimistic.

Dear @porters, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
