SMaP #126 - hiding in green grass
The post for SMAP#126 contest, hosted by @nelinoeva.
At the beginning of June we went to the park to feed ducks and pigeons. Our neighbors are very opposed to me feeding the pigeons near our house, because the pigeons litter a lot on the windows of the neighbors, and they often have to clean the windows. Therefore, now I have to go far away from our house so that the neighbors will be satisfied and do not come with complains to my parents :)
Sometimes we have stale bread left over that we will no use; I put it in a separate bag, and by the end of the week we go to the park and this bag finds its use. If there is no extra bread left, on the way to the park we often visit the store and buy a piece of cheaper wheat bread, or a package of millet groats.
And then in the park we have fun feeding ducks or pigeons. Of course, we are not the only ones who bring food to the birds, sometimes there are so many who want that ducks and pigeons are overfed and even refuse to turn their heads and look at the food on offer :)
But not at this time. This time we have seen little ducklings following their mummy, but since they were not in the grass, I do not add them to my post.
Judging by the different plumage color this is family pair. I added this photo because - obviously - there is much more grass here. A green jungle!
Lovely pictures, you have them all very well captuerd. The sparrows are indeed male and female.🙂
Thank you 😚 with such magnification they have curious faces - pleasure to look at. 🧐
Gorgeous wee sparrows, that is great they posed for you!
