Ruleset
From left to right :
- Broken Arrows, can't use monsters with range attack.
- Mana Cap 60.
- Can use the element Fire, Water, and Death.
My Lineup and strategy
There is some guideline we can use :
- Broken Arrow ruleset, because can't use range monsters, we must focus on dealing with Magic and Melee attack monsters. An ability like Void, Void Armor, Magic Reflect, Thorn, shield,
Demoralize, Silence, and any other ability which can help against melee and the magic monster will surely help.
We choose to use the water element because have many monsters with High HP and high Damage.
As a tanker, we can use Legionnaire Alvar which have Void Armor to handle melee and magic attack, but we choose to use Diemonshark, its weak against magic but strong against Legionnaire Alvar, cause we think from 3 elements we can choose not to have many monsters with strong Magic Damage.
This choice is a rather risky thought, if the enemy uses Legionnaire Alvar and backup by many monsters with the magic attack we may have trouble.
This is enemy lineup :
This is our lineup from left (first position) to right (last position) :
Summoner/monster and Abilities | Description |
---|---|
Kelya Frendul (summoner), make all friendly monsters have +1 speed and armor | Very good summoner for this battle the shield will prolong the life of our monster, Increased speed can make our monster attack first, and may evade the enemy attack. |
Diemonshark, 1st position, attacker and tanker. Has Ability Trample, Enrage, and Retaliate. | This monster has high armor, HP, and good speed, suitable to become a tanker, Enrage ability will increase the damage and speed which is already high enough, to activate enrage ability of the monster's HP needs to be decreased. The Retaliate ability is a dangerous ability when facing the melee monster it has a chance of 50% that this monster will counterattack the attacker. If the enemy we attacked dies then with Trample's ability this monster with attack the monster behind. |
Flying Squid, 2nd position, attacker and 2nd tanker. Has the ability Reach, Blind, and Backfire. | This monster's Armor and attack are not as high as Diemonshark, but he can attack from 2nd position with Reach ability. The support ability Blind is very useful because give all friendly monster a 15% increase in chance to evade melee and range monster attack. The backfire ability will be active when the melee/range monster attacks Flying Squid and miss, it will hit back with 2 damage. |
Deeplurker, 3rd position, attacker. Has the ability Opportunity, Poison, and Demoralize. | High damage, speed melee monster, and has ability poison, if the enemy is inflicted by poison will receive 2 damage every round. This monster can attack from any position, he will attack the monster with the lowest HP. Demoralize is a support ability that will reduce the melee damage monster by 1. |
Uraeus, 4th position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, Poison. | Okay damage of 3, put this monster in 4th position because I think this is the safest place, this monster has small HP, I used this monster because of the poison ability this monster has. Same with Deeplurker this monster can attack from everywhere, Uraeus will attack the monster in the last position (Sneak ability). |
Nerissa Tridawn, 5th position, attacker, has no ability. | I used this monster because have high HP and magic damage put this at 5th position in case our backline tanker dies, this monster can be a 2nd tanker. |
Baakjira, 6th position, tanker, has the ability Void, Slow, Strengthen, and Heal. | Has extra large HP 16, Heal ability, Strengthen ability which gives all friendly monsters +1 HP, making this monster hard to kill. Slow ability will decrease all enemy speed -1. although this monster can't attack but have support ability which is very useful in this battle. |
The Battle
Round 1 :
- The battle begins with buffs and debuffs from both sides.
Almost all enemy monster speeds are very low compared to our monsters. Look like the enemy think like us, that the enemy will bring some sneak monsters, so it put Forgotten One in the last position, this monster can't attack in this position,
but every time it is hit by a melee monster has a chance of 50% to counterattack it,Our Side :
- Uraeus die killed by Mordeus.
Enemy Side :
- Mordeus inflicted by poison because attacked by our Deeplurker.
U can see in round 1 the enrage of Diemonshark already activated because the HP decreased, attacked by the enemy magic monster Technowizologist. The Enrage ability made the damage and speed increase. Enemy Legionnaire Alvar with only 2 damage and 1 speed no match again it.
Round 2 :
Our Side :
- No monster dies, Diemonshark, manages to evade the attack from the enemy monster Junker because has high speed.
Enemy Side :
- Mordeus die because of poison status.
- Legionnarie Alvar dies attacked by Nerissa Tridawn.
Round 3:
- Enemy Side :
- Junker die attacked by Deeplurker
After the dead of enemy monster Junker, i think we can almost sure that the victory will be ours. The enemy only left 3 monsters, and only 1 magic attack can damage our monsters.
Round 4.
- Our Side :
- Diemonshark die killed by Technowizologist.
Round 5-6.
- Enemy Side :
- Almo Cambio die attacked byk Flying Squid.
- Technowizologist die attacked by Deeplurker.
- Forgotten One die attacked by Deeplurker.
With the dead of Forgotten One victory becomes ours.
Did your strategy work?
Our strategy was quite successful even though it turned out that the enemy used an unexpected summoner, the Legendary summoner Yodin Zaku, usually, this summoner was combined with a range type monster, because has a faster speed compared to the melee monster in the Fire element.
Every attack from a monster that uses this Summoner has a blast effect, apart from injuring the attacked monster it also injures other monsters around it. Luckily the enemy's speed is low, so we can evade several attacks from the enemy, so the blast effect is not triggered.
And our guess turned out to be right, the enemy used Legionnaire Alvar, this monster is too slow and the damage isn't that great, only the armor is big, and it can not do much against Diemonshark.
Even though the enemy brought Junkers who can repair the armor, but still the Legionnaire Alvar can't do much.
