5 Minute Freewrite: **** Surgery Window ****
Heather was a young medical student. She was suspicious of several doctors who practiced medicine in the hospital where she was doing her internship. She suspected that they do illegal surgeries.
One rainy day, Heather decided to not go home and wait for the rain to stop. She was wandering around the hospital when she saw light coming out of one of the operating rooms. She got curious and went to look who is inside from the surgery window.
The doctors in the operating room were all wearing masks and green scrubs. So, she couldn't recognize them. She knew they were operating an illegal operation because no operation was scheduled at that hour. She checked that.
She informed the authorities and soon other staff who were working the night shift found out about the illegal operation which was being done without their knowledge or consent.
The doctors who were in the operation room were all taken into custody for further questioning. And, it got clear that they were doing an illegal surgery. They all were punished for what they were doing. The punishment included jail time and fine.
Hello @poemsofasickmind. It was odd that no one on the night crew noticed the activity. Hospitals run 24 hours a day. The individuals who performed the operations should be held accountable. I was thinking that maybe it was an emergency surgery that came in late.
