Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Custom Set

Hello everybody in the hive community and to all gamers of hive. This is my entry to the splinterlands community engagement challenge.

The task for this week's engagement challenge is to write about a new update in the game. This new update was added to make the experience a little bit easier for new players like myself who do not have good cards collection.

This has been added as an update to set rentals which presents you with a collection of several cards to rent with just one click. Set rentals was brought to make renting way easier and way faster. The old system of renting is still available which has to do with looking for cards manually and then selecting a level to rent. This can be tough for new players because when they open the market, they can get overwhelmed.

Looking at this picture above of the old card rental system is overwhelming. imagine as a new player you have to look through all these cards and more just to select a card to rent. You will be exhausted by the time you finish renting 10 cards. That is why set rentals was introduced to make renting easy and custom sets has been introduced to make it even better.

When we click on set rentals we see that the options displayed are chaos legion. riftwatchers, rebellion and custom. At the top of these, we can see create, rent and manage. Create allows us to also make our cards available for rent out by either manually choosing the cards we want to rent out or by doing that automatically.

To use custom sets, players have to click on view which is written with custom. After clicking on view, the owners that have made their cards available for renting are displayed with the name of the sets, the costs per day, name of owner and number of cards. What was displayed for me includes 9 owners who made their cards available. "hasie" made 30 cards available at a 5 $DEC per day cost while "nozem01" made 6 cards available at a 6 $DEC per day cost. "saydie" made 97 cards available at a 10 $DEC per day costs while "saachi" made 4 different sets available; 15, 16, 17 and 19 cards at a cost of 20, 50, 50 and 75 $DEC per day respectively. "seattlea" made 49 cards available at a cost of 50 $DEC per day and "**criptoanarquista" made 9 cards available at a costs of a whooping 1000 $DEC per day.

Custom set is different from the other options in set rentals because it is a combination of all of them at all levels. Chaos legion set rentals only lets you rent cards belonging to chaos legion and rebellion set rentals only provides you with rebellion cards to rent and the same logic applies to riftwatchers. But custom combines all these 3 and provides them at all levels which is better.
