The phrase charity begins at home means that when we want to start improving and impacting the world then we need to start with our own lives, family, society, community etc. we most at times neglect the fact that the greatest impact we can create is within our homes and communities and the most effective way to create positive change is to start with those around us, is a person first responsibility to serve his or her family first then others. One of the most unique ways we can practice charity at home is by showing love and support to our family by given them attention and helping hand by been present and supportive at all cost. In addition, charity begins from the heart as you have that feelings to give start from your home and extend to others in your society.

The act of charity is NOT only narrow down to your immediate family, whom you love the most and people you know only and also it is not narrow to those who are rich only but the poor as well can practice charity, since charity is not about donating money, but embedded on showing kindness, love, care etc. to others You can practice charity when it comes to work by teaching and training someone at work or serving people from your heart and not out of obligation or money. We can as well make impact in our societies and communities by doing volunteering work, participating in neighborhoods or by offering a kind words to people who are passing through difficulties.
