TO OLD FRIENDS AND NEW, and those to come🥂

I’ll start from the top because the beginning is a very good place to start.
You know how people argue that distance destroys relationships? Well, I can’t relate. I know this post is supposed to be about friends you met on this blockchain but what about friends that paved your path to this blockchain? Since we’re on the topic of good friends, I can say with all certainty that if I fail to talk about this queen @niglys, I will lose sleep and this lady loves her beauty sleep.
Remember what I said about distance? Well, it got nothing on our friendship. Since the time I became aware of my existence, I’ve known @niglys. We were always seen together in church and boy! were we smart. There was just no way a quiz, sword drill (this is a kind of bible game where several kids are made to compete on who’ll open a particular part of the bible fastest), drama, or any kids’ activities that can be carried out in a church will hold without our participation. I remember that whenever we were opportune to sit in the adult church, we would sit at opposite pews so we can check out the shoes of every chorister as they marched in then, we’d either nod in approval or shake our heads in disapproval. This memory leaves me with a smile as I write about it❤.

Our parents also had their doses of our troubles. If there was going to be a campout and one of us had been registered, the other parents didn't need to be told what to do.
Years down, we all left to study and since then, we were never truly together because we attended separate schools all through our levels of education yet, our friendship didn’t wane.
My journey on hive started with her. She has never failed to introduce me to any opportunity she comes across and thinks will be beneficial to me. Ours is a beautiful friendship and I’m sending her all the love.

When it comes to gaining friends through friends, it almost summarizes my friend list. Once, I got a friend through my elder sister, and today, you’d think she's been my friend since time immemorial and my sister is just someone we know from work😂.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, history has repeated itself. I have gotten yet another friend @gone-hive through a friend @niglys right here on this platform (hopefully I don’t hijack their friendship😃). When I got into hive, @niglys guided me the whole way. I laud her efforts to bring me up to date because I wouldn’t stop asking questions which is simply annoying. When I tried making my introductory post, I just kept running from one setback to the other. At a point, I got a prompt which I shared with her and she told me I needed someone to delegate hive power to me. In my mind, I said, “speak English, girlfriend.” Turned out she spoke to someone on my behalf to do the delegation. I had no idea she did that, not until she mentioned it and suggested I thank this person and, boom! I earned my first blockchain friend @gone-hive. As soon as I hit him up to say ‘thank you’ it was like he had a list of community suggestions waiting for me. If that isn’t a sign that he is a sweet guy and has my progress at heart, I don’t know what is. I may not be clairvoyant but I’m certain the future of this friendship is bright.
Hold on! I just had an idea; how about @niglys, @gone-hive, and me, @pixie2 become ‘the three musketeers!?’ Someone should bring me back to the real world, please 😂.
I see myself having lots of quality friendships here because this is one healthy community. Cheers to old friends and new, and those to come🥂.
