Walking Through Timeless Elegance!

A walk in a place with a classic ambiance? Ah! After I had eaten in the cool hut of Quadra, I was curious about what awaited upstairs so I had a simple walk and enjoyed strolling around its classic atmosphere.

At the entrance, what welcomed me was a wooden table with an adorable snowman made of recycled cups. I thought it was just a photo opportunity spot but as I asked the staff, he said that anyone could just sit there and relax for a while.

The table may look to be broken but it had a good design of an old tree and created an amazing small table with a bench that looked so old yet priceless. I was happy to see the adorned classical wheels with Christmas lights surrounded by its shape but it was not lit since it was daytime when we got there.

And of course, who would never love the huge snowman beside the classical table and bench? It was a combination of white, red, black, and gold. There may be no winter season in the Philippines, but seeing this creation made me feel like I was in a winter wonderland.

I was so delighted to see it in front of the walkway so I captured it while observing how it was made. I remember before the pandemic, we used to make a snowman with my students for the Christmas Decoration Contest.

And seeing this snowman, made me miss the enjoyable activities we had at school back then. Indeed, Christmas is one of the most wonderful moments of the year as I get to see colorful and bright decorations anywhere I go here in my country.

I stayed at the spot for a while and had a breath of fresh air. Although the weather was hot, it was so relaxing to stay in this area while greeting people with a smile I have met since this is just near the walkway. And then I decided to go upstairs and saw a beautiful Christmas tree that looked like the creation of my dear grandmother back then.

As I walked through the stairs, I was so surprised to see a classic Christmas tree. The design and colors made me remember back in the ’90s.

The little kid in me suddenly missed the old Christmas Tree that my grandmother used to decorate at her house when I was younger. The design was so familiar as it is how my grandmother made an innovative Christmas tree with the same colors, designs, and all just like the color of the foils used, the old classic Christmas balls, the Christmas foils that looked like packed candies, and the small tree adorned by the Christmas decorations were so similar.

Despite the modern design of Christmas trees, I am happy that this design still exists today in modern times. I must say that this decoration is so priceless. I stayed here for a moment as I was sitting on the couch and captured many precious moments. Meanwhile, I entered inside and found a cozy atmosphere.

When I entered inside, it was a great feeling being in an area with a classic ambiance. From the interior designs to its decorations, everything was so amazing.

The flooring was also like the floor of my grandmother’s house when I was younger. I do remember the old houses back then with this kind of wooden flooring. The tables and chairs were so elegant too with vases at the center.

I so love the arrangement of the furniture inside although the area was not so spacious. No people were strolling around the place except me. I so love the floral vases and I had quick shots as I took a picture at various angles while seeing the vibrant blue sky on the window screen.

And then there were frames and artworks displayed on the walls that seemed old but gold. Meanwhile, I took several selfies in my favorite corner and I had a great time seeing the elegant interior designs. I sit at one of the high chairs and pose at the cabinet with many precious decorations.

And when I went outside, I noticed that the cafe beside it was already open. There were many Christmas decorations made out of recyclable materials just as recycled spoons, cups, plates, covers, and many more. The Christmas tree was also lovely and I like the combination of colors.

Perhaps it may be a simple stroll but my walk in this classic haven made my day so delightful. As I left the place, it left me with a profound appreciation of classic kinds of stuff despite living in modern times. And, I must say that I am an old soul who values the captivating exploration of a classical ambiance.
